09/03/2026: Have had Le Marvelous on our radar for a while and luckily got to visit for lunch today as our trip to Montpellier nears its close. Great location on a pleasant square with fountain. Neat interior decor and friendly, professional service. Started with an excellent Kir then P had the bruscetta with honey roasted brie and salad to start and i had the salmon gravlax with wasabi cream, we both had faux fillet with peppercorn sauce for a main with an excellent piche of house red. Desserts were a chocolate charlotte for P and a chocolate cremma for me. All delicious, would highly recommend.

11/03/2026: Fantastic experience. The sushi is excellent, the fish is very fresh, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. The restaurant is clean, and the welcome is very warm. You feel well received, and the service is efficient. A great place to eat delicious sushi. I especially loved the skewers. I highly recommend it.

14/03/2026: While in Poitiers on vacation, I went there twice. I received a warm welcome, and wanting to discover the local cuisine, the manager gave me recommendations whenever I needed them. The food is authentic and high quality. I highly recommend this place, especially for discovering Poitiers' gastronomy!

17/03/2026: I went into this café expecting a simple glass of water, as required by common courtesy/the law. The waitress, in a haughty and extremely rude tone, simply replied "no" while turning her back on me. This isn't the first time the staff has been in a terrible mood towards customers, and judging by other reviews, it's always the same waitress (with fake blonde hair) who harasses them. Absolutely avoid this place!!!

15/03/2026: Lunch for six people to celebrate a birthday. A very warm welcome, excellent service, very attentive staff, and a beautiful setting. The meat for our dishes—hanger steak, burgers, and cordon bleu—was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

18/03/2026: Let's remain objective and simply share our experience, which I hope will never happen again. First, we ordered mussels and oysters. There were already 16 oysters in the bag, and you need a multiple of 6, which is annoying. Okay, moving on. Two days later, we're both sick: fever, body aches, diarrhea. The presumption of innocence exists, but could it have just been a cold? I don't think so.

18/03/2026: A nice, friendly restaurant. We had a late lunch, but there were no problems. Service is available until at least 2 pm. The menu is quite extensive; there's something for everyone.

18/03/2026: A very nice restaurant with a simple menu! Unfortunately, my pizza was very watery; I imagine that's normal since it's not tomato season, so they're full of water. BUT it was still excellent. Plus, they give you olive oil, haha! I thought it was a shame that the wine list only offered four or five Italian wines… in my opinion, it was missing some typical wines like Neto davola or Montepulciano.
