15/07/2026: It was very good and we were very comfortable without a reservation. I'm taking off one star for the service because it was a little slow.

28/08/2026: We booked a tour in English about the origin of the cocoa they use. Priya provided us with incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable information and encourages you to think for yourself. Tasting and smelling chocolate as part of the tour makes all the difference and completes the experience. You can also sample items in the shop without a tour. Artistic objects made of chocolate. And, of course, there is plenty for sale.

20/08/2026: Come visit the factory and also enjoy a snack – amazing ice cream and delicious hot chocolate, depending on the season. I love it!

06/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is incredible! This is the place to be in Avoriaz for a festive break right on the slopes. The atmosphere under the sun is magical, perfect for après-ski with breathtaking mountain views. As for the food, it's pure bliss: their truffle pizza is simply exceptional, generous and fragrant, ideal to pair with a good glass of wine. The staff are super energetic and friendly despite the crowds. An experience not to be missed!

08/06/2026: I've been to La Folie Douce two years now – and it's been fantastic every time! Great DJs, great music, no cover charge, drink prices are perfectly reasonable for après-ski, friendly staff, cool dancers, clean restrooms, and always a fun atmosphere among the guests. Plus, they regularly have great themed parties (like Aperol Spritz). I'll be skiing in Avoriaz again next year, so I'll definitely be visiting La Folie Douce regularly!

19/07/2026: We attended a performance of the play "The Storyteller" on Saturday, July 18th. It was fabulous; we had a wonderful time filled with suspense and laughter. The actors were incredible; they truly transported us into their various scenes. I highly recommend seeing these talented artists. The seats were comfortable, and we had a good view of the stage even from the back rows.

19/09/2026: Exceptional, we loved it! The cheese and charcuterie board was delicious, and the owner, Florian, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He explained each cheese and the different types of cured meats to us. The wines were very good. All the products are local and of excellent quality. The shop has a very extensive wine selection. The shaded terrace was a welcome relief on a sunny day. It's a must-visit in Chinon. Plus, Florian speaks both Spanish and English, which made communication much easier. 😊

11/09/2026: A very pleasant time spent on this sunny Monday afternoon 🌞. A wonderful discovery and a fantastic welcome. Despite a large crowd before our visit and a nearly empty fridge, we were served and looked after exceptionally well. The charcuterie, cheeses, and wines are of high quality, and the owner is kind and attentive. Thank you very much.

29/09/2026: After ten days on the island and some really delicious food this place still stood out by a mile! I had the Filet the boeuf en croûte and would choose this as my last meal if I ever came to that. Can't recommend this place enough!

28/10/2026: It's always a pleasure to eat at L'Arbre Blanc! We celebrated our wedding there last year and went for dinner again last night. The food is excellent, the portions generous (we both struggled to finish), the selection of cocktails and mocktails is fantastic, and the waitresses are smiling and friendly (although we did have to ask them for a carafe of water and a knife for our main course :)). In short, L'Arbre Blanc is a sure bet! A big thank you to Lucas and his team for this wonderful dinner ☺️

29/10/2026: A lovely restaurant in a park. We received a warm welcome and excellent service. We had lunch on the terrace, and the meal was delicious. The option to borrow a hat in case of sun is a very good idea. The free parking is a bonus.

23/10/2026: We had booked for two people this evening. The setting is authentic, the staff very pleasant, not to mention the food, which was excellent! A big thank you for this delightful experience!

20/10/2026: Wandering around Cassis looking for a unique place to eat and found L’Escalier. The restaurant had two cozy rooms straddling the avenue and a great menu and that’s what lured us in! We sat in the smaller 4 table room. Service was prompt and pleasant. I had the Filet de bœuf poêlé nature with Roquefort sauce and my husband had the Entrecôte poêlée aux morilles sauce. Both came with pommes pavé and salade. The meals were so delicious. I can’t stop thinking about the steaks! If we’re ever back in Cassis, we will definitely be back! Merci beaucoup!

13/10/2026: A great find! I wanted to try the kidneys (not many restaurants serve them) and they were perfectly cooked, just the right amount of pink 😋 And a generous portion. The waitress and the owner were very attentive. I highly recommend it.

Tender meat, an excellent dessert, and a lovely new menu that makes you want to come back! 05/10/2026: Very welcoming, excellent food. Thank you for introducing us to L'Abbé champagne. We went to the champagne house, but the phone number listed on Google was not in service, so we couldn't buy the champagne.

03/10/2026: A little restaurant that deserves to be discovered! Open only for lunch, but you'll understand why when you consider the time spent preparing all these delicious homemade dishes. And when I say homemade, I mean everything from the absolutely excellent ratafia with mirabelle plums as an aperitif to the foie gras served with seasonal ingredients, meltingly smooth, and continuing with a variety of other dishes, all very original and beautifully presented. The owner is passionate and engaging, sharing his story and experience. The owner is very welcoming and friendly, perfectly explaining the flavors you'll find on your plate. Finally, they sell completely homemade products for those with a sweet tooth. In short, you get the picture! Enjoy without moderation.
