12/07/2026: I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt despite being aware of the online reviews, but I've never been so disappointed in my entire life. The taco was swimming in oil, had no sauce, and the meat was questionable. I ordered a two-meat taco, but I only got one. Astaghfirullah, the taco was swimming in oil! The sauces were awful. Frankly, it's unbelievable that businesses like this still exist in 2026. It should be banned! The hygiene is questionable. Inspections need to be carried out as soon as possible.

12/07/2026: Disgusting tacos, very dry, no cheese sauce. €10.50 for a meal (two-meat taco, fries, and a drink) is an exorbitant price for only one meat (a cordon bleu that was fluorescent) of such poor quality. Sticky table. I strongly advise against going there, even for a drink, as the five drink choices are disappointing. Horrible.

19/07/2026: On the evening of the broadcast of the French national team's last match, we came as a group and sat on the terrace. Everyone at the table ordered drinks, except for one person who simply didn't want anything. Despite the fact that the rest of the group were ordering and therefore contributing to the business, we were asked to leave because one person wasn't ordering. I found this attitude strange. I understand that a bar relies on its customers, but when almost everyone at a table is ordering, trying to force each person to buy something gives the impression that the goal is simply to maximize the exposure of a free event on television. Especially since the terrace wasn't even full. This establishment feels like a real tourist trap, designed to maximize profits at the expense of customer service. This isn't the first bad experience I've had here. On a previous visit, a server knocked over his tray right next to me. Shards of glass fell near us, splashing me, and the shards were never cleaned up. We then waited a very long time before anyone came to take our order, and even longer before being served. To top it all off, we paid an exorbitant price for a milkshake that didn't even taste homemade. Finally, the minimum spend for credit cards is high, which is hard to understand since most establishments accept small payments.

18/07/2026: There was more ice than drink in the spritz. During happy hour, for the same price you get a second glass that's smaller than the first: incomprehensible.

09/11/2025: We went twice, once on a Saturday lunchtime in October and again today, Sunday lunchtime, and we found the door closed, even though there is no sign indicating that it is closed, so what's going on?

19/10/2025: We were very, very disappointed... The starter: a plate of charcuterie: two slices of rosettes and a slice of coppa, oily and clearly out of date! The fat was definitely grayish/green! I pointed this out to the waiter, who replied, "Well, it came straight from the fridge!" And left... Of course, I didn't eat it (for fear of getting sick). Then the main course: a piece of meat from the butcher (tiny, shriveled because it was full of sinews... in short, inedible... And for dessert: Tropésienne (a 3 cm slice cut from a supermarket Tropésienne) as dry as if it hadn't even been made that day! And when I went to pay at the register, I saw the cook taking the money and cooking again without washing his hands! What's more, I saw behind the bar counter, two plastic bins containing (stale croutons and green salad) out in the open, less than a meter from a trash can, with a simple fan to blow on them! If you don't want to get SICK, move on...

19/04/2026: This is the third time I've been to this bakery, what a mistake! Every time I find an excuse for them. Please, if you don't have a knack for business, you should stop. The manager was incredibly aggressive, and don't even get me started on the employees... the products are mediocre. In short, avoid it!

10/03/2026: Disappointed. I used to come every day, but now there are no more sandwiches after noon. There are only four employees in the shop and an endless queue, but only one actually serves customers while the others wander around. Frankly, I won't be going back to this one. Take five minutes and go to the one in Portet next door where the staff are much nicer and there's always a good selection.

20/07/2026: Never go there. They have very absurd attitudes towards customers. It's not hygienic. The dishes look like they haven't been washed or are that old. I wouldn't even go in there to get water if I were in the desert.

20/06/2026: I found Le Rouquet quite pleasant! The atmosphere reminded me of a Diner in the US. Plenty of options for a family of 3 (w a very picky little one). Milkshakes were great! Service was great!

07/04/2026: I went in today at 12:15. The saleswoman was alone, serving about ten people waiting, as usual. Meanwhile, her colleague was chatting with another colleague by the door. It's always the same in this store; conversations are more important than customers. Avoid this store; customers are not important.

31/03/2026: Yesterday at 3 PM, I bought two cookies. Hard as a rock. They looked a little overbaked in the display case, but they were probably only a week old. If you can sell something like that, it's a place to avoid.

09/03/2026: Worst kebab in a while. You order chicken in curry sauce and it turns out to be a regular kebab. Avoid this place. Horrible and tasteless.

24/02/2026: Not-so-fresh meat = spending the night in the toilet. It's Russian roulette here. My stomach still remembers it.

26/07/2026: The establishment was very dirty, the presence of ants on the counter was already a bit much... moreover, my husband and I were sick the next day.

26/07/2026: Run away as fast as you can! This McDonald's is a disgrace. Orders are never fulfilled, there's always something missing. Run, run away!!!!!!!!!!

12/07/2026: I've always had my best nights out there; the bartenders are warm and friendly, the security is attentive, and the cocktails are great. I've been a customer since I arrived in Rennes and I would always recommend this bar.

30/06/2026: What can I say? Unfriendly waiter, owner who rolls his eyes when it comes to paying separately for overpriced pints, cold atmosphere, in short, don't come!

20/07/2026: A very bad experience. At the meat counter, the price displayed was €2.67 per 100g. The employee served the meat to my plate without ever asking me how much I wanted. It was only after paying that I discovered there was about 300g of meat on my plate, which explained the price of nearly €10. When I pointed out that I had never ordered such a large quantity, no solution was offered. Yet, I hadn't even started eating the meat. I barely ate any of it. In addition, the noodles and other prepared dishes were dry, seemed stale, and tasted bad. I usually love eating sushi, but this visit completely ruined my meal. I am very disappointed and will not be returning.

06/07/2026: I paid €17.18 for stir-fried noodles, a skewer, and a spring roll with a drink, which I think is a bit much… It's a shame, I don't think it's homemade either; it's probably microwaved when you eat in.

04/06/2026: I wanted to get a latte, I was in front of the waitress, she turned her back on me, didn't even look at me. For a moment I thought I was invisible. For 5 minutes I waited, no reaction. I crossed the street to Le Val, I got a gourmet coffee, I enjoyed it, and from now on I will never set foot in that bakery again, for me it will be Le Val every morning.

21/06/2026: Currently temporarily closed for the past week (today is 21 Jun 2026). There seems to be a sign on the door from the sanitary authorities. Too bad - it is a great artisanal bakery in a good location.

16/05/2026: Excellent pan bagnat with chicken or tomato. Friendly service. Indoor tables sheltered from the wind. Superb lemon fougasse. We'll be back.
