16/09/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An extraordinary experience, a heritage to preserve ❤️ I found a video of our visit, and it made me want to share this wonderful experience again. This crêperie is located in a former water tower. You have to climb many stairs—I don't remember the exact number—but once you reach the top, the view is absolutely magnificent. It's truly an extraordinary place. And the crêpes… a real treat! 🥞 They were excellent, and the setting makes the experience even more special. I learned that the place will be closing temporarily, and that there might be a possibility of permanent closure. I don't know exactly what the situation is, but I sincerely hope that this place will be able to continue to thrive. It would be such a shame to lose such an original, beautiful, and charming place. This is a heritage site that deserves to be preserved and remain accessible to the public. Thank you to the team for this wonderful discovery. I have excellent memories of this visit, and I hope to return someday. ❤️

15/09/2026: Excellent pizzas, and I mean it! The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings are generous, the ingredients are high quality—it's a real treat. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. I highly recommend Greggo's pizzas, which are the best around, in my opinion!

10/10/2026: As previous reviews have mentioned, it's far too expensive for what it is. The meat, the minced steak, is nothing like it used to be; it's practically vegetarian, really not great... I wouldn't recommend it, even though there was a time, several years ago, when it was good.

I visited in August 2025 and I'm vegan, and they made sure to respect my dietary needs, even letting me know which dishes I couldn't eat without me having mentioned them. They were very attentive and proactive, even serving me a dish that wasn't on the menu to accommodate my diet. Thank you for your consideration and these gestures, which will remain etched in my memory. 🙂

27/08/2026: While on holiday in Normandy, we decided to have some pizzas. They were absolutely fantastic, both the pizzas and the service! The lady who served us was incredibly kind; we appreciated her warm welcome and the fact that she took the time to chat with her customers. As for the pizzas, they were very generously topped and delicious—we couldn't finish them! They even offered to let us take the leftovers home, which is quite unusual. The Bretons thank you, and we won't hesitate to come back again!

27/08/2026: I was recently in Sardinia; the pizza there was just so-so. The pizzas from La Base were perfect, smelling delicious and perfectly topped. With a large glass of Birra Moretti, it was pure bliss! Highly recommended.

25/09/2026: A truly beautiful and surprising place, especially considering its location outside the city center of Strasbourg. It feels like a haven, and in summer the terrace overlooking the lake is superb. Excellent wine and food. High-quality cuisine. Impeccable service. A truly excellent place.

24/09/2026: We celebrated our wedding at this magnificent restaurant in July 2026, and it will remain one of the most beautiful days of our lives thanks to Olivier and his team. We were able to enjoy the terrace for a cocktail reception with delicious canapés, and the welcome for both the guests and the bride and groom was very well managed. The dining room was meticulously prepared by the team. Everything was excellent, from the appetizers to the dessert. We highly recommend this venue for a magnificent wedding to anyone who wishes to have one. Our families and friends loved it! We have also eaten there several times. The appetizers and main courses are excellent, and the service is always pleasant. A big thank you to Olivier and his team for welcoming us so warmly. J & A.
