20/09/2024: So good we went twice. They are only open from 12-3 most days. We arrived the second day without knowing that and we must have looked very disappointed because they came out and told us to stay and they served is. It was very nice of them. We tried the Galette Complete and the Croque monsieur. Both were great. My wife loved the little salad that came with the Croque Monsieur. You should definitely give it a try!!

30/11/2024: Bon accueil bien qu’arrivée un peu tardive vendredi soir sans réservation ! Belle ambiance, tables d’habitués dans ce chouette resto de quartier à Montchapet. Service enjoué et efficace, crêpes salées délicieuses, vins au verre tip top.. que dire de plus sinon que nous recommandons et reviendrons avec plaisir ! Merci à toute l’équipe

13/09/2024: Typical local cuisine. Very warm hearted service even we can’t communicate in English but use google photos I got my 3 course set meal correct. It is not a small place - outside, inside, basement. Burgundian escargot is a traditional dish in Burgundian cuisine. It’s worth eating here! Les escargots de Bourgogne sont un met traditionnel de la cuisine bourguignonne. Must try with local wine, price reasonable. Spent a delicious and pleasant evening there.

08/12/2024: What a pity! Top concept👍🏼, service👍🏼👍🏼. On the other hand, the sirloin (if you are a meat lover like me), not GREAT. The origin is not indicated, on the European Union, and the race? For me, dairy, not a meat breed. As a result, meat is tough and not tasty. And please, when we make fresh fries, do not reheat them in the oven or the salamander... It's shameful... VERY VERY BIG disappointment for this place which seemed good to us... 😭. I wouldn't eat here on my next trip.. Returned this Friday 12/2024, my god, forced to finish without having dessert because the smoke in the back room was stinging our eyes. As a result, clothes that smelled too strongly of smoke when going out. On the other hand, meat and fries: OK

28/11/2024: Very good address! The meat is fresh, presented at the counter and grilled over wood in front of us. I had the prawns, delicious as well as the vegetable side dish. Homemade desserts, crème brûlée 😊 Very good value for money.

16/12/2024: The area is very well located. The staff is very attentive. I particularly thank Isabelle for her kindness. The restaurant is delicious as is the breakfast buffet. Being from Toulouse, it’s very nice to have such a flexible establishment.

16/12/2024: Pleasant surprise! Discovered thanks to a smartbox box, the Fompeyre estate was on our way to Bordeaux. All the staff are very welcoming and caring. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. PS: I recommend the Bazas beef. We will return with great pleasure.

20/09/2024: Edit ... In response to owners reply... Oh dear. Overly sensitive owners who don't like criticism? Asked on the evening if we were happy and took great offense when we said no! We were spoken to rudely and told they were "very busy"... Would we like to help?? I have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants in several countries over the years and am very aware of what quality is. This place is not. Owners think they are something special but they are not. Barely average food , uncomfortable premises, VERY poor service from people who really should not be working in hospitality. I stand by my comments. Service slow. 2 hours for service. Poor. Dissatisfied. Disappointed.

01/12/2024: Great little restaurant, almost hidden, but once discovered, you're there. The very warm welcome, the excellent cuisine and the very intimate setting, the room being able to accommodate only a few place settings. Little choice on the menu indicating the freshness of the products. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the cuisine.

11/11/2024: Very good address. Refined, balanced, tasty dishes, well presented with good fresh produce and good value for money. The only slight downside is receiving a carafe of anodized white wine when you order a half of wine a la carte. Otherwise very good restaurant.
