01/09/2026: Welcoming and the galettes were very good and plentiful.

29/08/2026: Despite an initially welcoming atmosphere, the reception ultimately left us somewhat perplexed, particularly due to several disparaging remarks from the owner about tourists. As for the food, the savory buckwheat crepes were a bit disappointing, while the sweet crepes were quite good. Overall, it was acceptable, but nothing to write home about.

22/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, we highly recommend it! Fresh, generous, and homemade cuisine at very affordable prices. The staff is very welcoming and attentive, with quick service. We loved the bull stew, the preparation of which the manager explained to us, as well as the guinea fowl with its delicious homemade mashed potatoes. The desserts, lemon tart and chocolate mousse, were also excellent and homemade. A wonderful discovery, we will gladly return!

30/09/2026: I was frankly very disappointed by this Matsuri. The sushi was dried out, as were the salads. I was really hungry, so I ate anyway, otherwise I would have simply left. Some of the sushi, especially the ones with toasted rice, were so dry they were practically inedible. It really seemed like some of the plates had been spinning on the conveyor belt for hours. Another rather surprising thing: no non-alcoholic beer on the menu. For people who don't drink alcohol, it would be nice to offer at least one option. I ordered about nine plates of different colors and a Coke Zero. Total: about €45. When it came time to pay, the waiter did the calculation on his own, but I didn't receive a receipt or a detailed bill. Even when he gave me my change, I still didn't get any proof of purchase. I find that really strange and unprofessional. In addition, there was water in the middle of the room; apparently, something was leaking under a refrigerator. Between that, the dried-out sushi, and some plates that looked like they'd been circulating for ages, the whole experience was really bad. I know Matsuri well and have eaten at several of their restaurants in Paris. I generally like this chain, but the one in Neuilly-sur-Seine is, in my opinion, clearly the one where I had the worst experience. It's a shame, because I really expected better from Matsuri.

28/10/2026: A fantastic find! The pizzas are incredibly delicious, and the menu has a huge selection. The service is impeccable; the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Plus, the place is very cozy and pleasant to visit, even if the interior is rather small—which is something I personally appreciate. Highly recommended! :)

The setting is elegant, the service efficient and very pleasant, and the cuisine is masterful: the ingredients are seasonal and of high quality, the chef showcases local produce, and his cooking techniques are perfectly executed. Special mention goes to the dessert of lovage and wheat beer ice cream: two flavors we hadn't tried before and that we'll remember for a long time! Bravo!

07/08/2026: We enjoyed the five-course tasting menu to celebrate my parents' 60th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and appreciated the flavor combinations. They will have a memorable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/09/2026: So-so... The setting is very nice. The selection isn't exceptional. If you take away the pizzas, burgers, and all the candy, there's not much left. There are only three main dishes: duck and two beef dishes. For €29, it's a bit stingy. It's not the best Chinese restaurant around, far from it.

09/08/2026: An excellent restaurant that I recommend without hesitation! The setting is simply superb, pleasant, and ideally located near the sea, with the added bonus of easy parking. The service is also impeccable: the servers are lovely, helpful, friendly, and always smiling. A special mention goes to the waiter and the chef, who are remarkably kind and always attentive to the customers. They are also incredibly warm and welcoming. As for the food, it was simply sumptuous! Beautifully prepared ingredients, flavorful dishes, and a real attention to detail. And then… a special mention for the desserts, which were truly worthy of a Michelin-starred chef! A real treat and a magnificent way to end the meal. 🍰✨ A wonderful discovery, both for the cuisine and for the service and the setting. I highly recommend it! 👏
