19/04/2026: A very nice brasserie. A little away from the tourist crowds (or so it seemed to me). Half the place was full of tourists, including myself with my two children, and the other half were regulars. Reasonable prices. I recommend it.

23/04/2026: The time between the starter and the main course was long, especially with children.

23/04/2026: One Sunday evening, the first waiter told us that only the €38 set menu was available. We ordered, and then I asked a waitress why that was the only option. She told me that wasn't true; all the other menus were there! A few days later, we went bowling. We pressed the button to call a server and order drinks, and a very unpleasant waitress came over, saying we had to come over, even though she wasn't busy because there were no customers at the bar. She'd been chatting with another waitress for an hour! She didn't serve us anything we'd ordered! We didn't say anything to avoid causing trouble, but it's a disgrace! Especially considering the price of the drinks and a game of bowling. I was really disappointed for a supposedly "upscale" establishment. The pool tables were deplorable, and the bowling shoes smelled awful. Luckily, there were some very friendly waiters.

08/05/2026: The best ramen I've ever had!! I highly recommend it. The noodles are homemade, and it really makes a difference. I had the classic with extra toppings.

08/05/2026: You have to be quick when booking; it's practically impossible to get a table, even for two people, for the next day in the evening. Although the place was full, we were able to chat without being bothered by neighboring tables. The welcome and service are excellent. The okonomiyaki is always delicious. The Miso ramen, a special non-spicy option, and the Veggie ramen with the poached egg as an extra were very good. Still my favorite place for ramen to this day.

20/05/2026: I enjoyed three meals there, and each time it was a delightful surprise. First, the setting is very pleasant: the decor is understated yet elegant, and two lovely terraces and a veranda allow you to dine in comfort, whatever the weather or occasion. Then, the cuisine: all the dishes are beautifully presented and aesthetically pleasing. The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent in the taste, and the chef's skill is evident in the attention to detail. The meats are cooked to perfection. A minor drawback, however, concerns some of the side dishes, which were occasionally a little overcooked or slightly under-seasoned for my taste. The appetizers are excellent and beautifully presented, as are the desserts. The menu is intentionally simple, which is very appealing and reassuring regarding the freshness and quality of the food. The prices are also very reasonable. Finally, the staff is very helpful and welcoming. An address that I recommend to both passers-by and local residents, or even for group events.

08/05/2026: A small inn perched in the charming little village of Mayet-de-Montagne. A must-see for its setting, its cuisine, and the friendliness of the staff and management. The interior is very typical, in the style of an old inn, as the establishment's name suggests, and out back, for sunny days, there's a garden furnished with lovely little tables, perfect for relaxing as a couple or with family. Don't hesitate. Reservations are highly recommended!

04/05/2026: We had a very enjoyable evening at the old inn with a sizable group of 17 people. The beautifully presented dishes blended tradition and modernity, and I particularly recommend the various desserts. The welcome was perfect, with attentive service and a smile throughout. Highly recommended!
