05/09/2026: Beautiful place with lots of great awards, but far too expensive for the quality of the food: €65 for a 2022 Saint Joseph served piping hot, I had to ask for an ice bucket; the potato in the €28 beef bourguignon was overcooked and recooked; the profiteroles had a soapy taste, like they'd been washed with soap and then not rinsed properly; and the razor clams were crunchy with sand... The Mas Amiel from '99 was way too expensive to give away, lol. A shame, it seemed like a good place.

04/09/2026: A lovely, traditional restaurant. It’s small, but it feels genuinely authentic and welcoming. The staff are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The dishes are well prepared and really tasty, although the desserts were a little underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. Overall, a great little place that is definitely worth trying!

29/08/2026: The main course was good, but a major drawback was that we didn't get dessert. We arrived a little before 7 pm and had to leave at 8:15 pm without dessert, even though we were expected back at 8:30 pm. The waitresses seemed to have forgotten about us. It's a shame because the place is nice and the food was good.

26/08/2026: A very good brasserie, well located on the Grand'Place, with a lovely terrace perfect for enjoying the balmy evenings. The food is excellent (I recommend the carbonnade and the homemade rum baba). The menus are original and fun, and the service is impeccable (thanks to Simon, our young waiter, for his efficiency and friendliness).

01/08/2026: Great evening at this restaurant. I really appreciate that the menu lists the origin of the ingredients; there are many local products. The servers are very friendly, we ate outside in a pleasant and peaceful setting, and most importantly, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The service was quick and the dishes were delicious.

13/08/2026: As a frequent visitor to Limeray in Amboise, I've eaten at this excellent restaurant on many occasions. It's not right at the foot of the castle, but a 5-minute walk away on a small street, with parking nearby. It's a very pleasant surprise 🤩 The food is authentic and delicious, homemade, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. But above all, the food is excellent and reasonably priced! The service is top-notch and always with a smile. I highly recommend it 👏 I come back often and am always happy. 😉

06/09/2026: Pleasant setting. My waiter, Bachar, was responsive and attentive. The starter was very good, but the meat was a bit disappointing. It's still a nice place for lunch.

23/08/2026: We have been in Beziers since Wednesday and so far can be found in this pub every evening, just like in previous years. Great bar, good music that belongs in an Irish pub, nice to sit both outside and inside, great atmosphere and relaxed people behind the bar. Highly recommended.

16/08/2026: Le Petit Bouchon is a small and cozy restaurant, with a somewhat cramped space and tables that aren't very large, but where the service truly stands out. The attention was excellent: quick, friendly, and very kind throughout the entire meal. The presentation of the dishes follows a fairly similar style, as they all came with a mixed salad and skin-on fries, cut into wedges. The salad came with a dressing of a flavor that was difficult to define, which didn't quite win us over, and the potatoes, although they looked homemade, weren't a big hit with us either. We tried several dishes. The veal liver steak, served with a garlic and parsley dressing, was tasty and a good choice. The veal escalope alla milanese was decent, although perhaps a tad dry. The rib-eye steaks were the least impressive: they were cut a bit too thin, were somewhat tough, and weren't cooked to our liking. Regarding the price, I wouldn't consider it an inexpensive restaurant, although it's probably within the usual French standards. In short, it's a place where the service clearly stands out above all else, with excellent and friendly attention, but the food is somewhat inconsistent: some dishes work well, while others could be improved.

13/08/2026: We took a day trip to Albi and chose this little restaurant for lunch. Amazing! The food was exquisite, local, and plentiful. I recommend ordering from the set menus, as it's excellent value for money. The owner was wonderful. She was very friendly.

30/08/2026: We had the opportunity to eat at this restaurant during our vacation, and it was an exceptional experience. The welcome was excellent, the advice we received for our menu choices (we wanted to try some typical dishes), and what can I say about the quality of the food... From the charcuterie board to the Corsican lasagna and the Corsican burger, everything was generous (even very generous) and a real treat for the taste buds. And we enjoyed our meals with a magnificent view of the sea. Pure bliss! 🤩

30/05/2026: Good food, service, and a cozy atmosphere. Ideal for a quick stop somewhere nice, affordable, and good to eat. Just be sure to bring cash. We ordered two kebabs (which included fries), a plate of four falafel, and two Cokes, all for €25.

13/09/2026: We went to O’Tacos this Sunday, September 13th, around 3:30 PM. It was a real shame to be greeted like that. A rather unpleasant man with glasses. We asked a simple question, and he didn't look us in the eye, no thank you, no "conversation." Fortunately, a young man with dark hair, a goatee/mustache, and blue eyes was there to greet customers in a very professional and friendly manner. He also seemed to be the only one working. I work in retail myself, and I understand that there are off days, but honestly, the least one could do is be polite! 3 stars for the young man only!

30/08/2026: Set menu (main course and dessert) €30. We ordered two tandoori pork dishes. The pork was swimming in a large amount of Burgundy-style sauce... we had to search for the tandoori spice. There were three vegetables swimming in the sauce, including lentils, and a small bowl of fries for two. For dessert: a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts), which wasn't too bad, with several petits fours, including a small pear as hard as wood. And for me, an apricot/strawberry entremet: a completely soggy biscuit, whipped cream, and raspberry jam. In my opinion, there were four pieces of apricot and two or three strawberries. Too much soggy food, not very appetizing. It lacked a crispy base like good pastries... I didn't finish it... a huge disappointment... The decor is a matter of taste, but "atypical" says everything and nothing... in my opinion, very poor taste... and to top it all off, the floor was sticky in front of the till, and a glass of wine was charged at €8 instead of €7, so we had to ask for it to be corrected. The result was a loss of 37 euros, which I really regret... anyway, bye bye.
