16/06/2026: Delicious French-style cuisine. I definitely recommend it.

15/06/2026: I gave it 5 stars to avoid damaging the owner's business, but in reality, there were several serious issues. I traveled exclusively in France for 40 days, but this was the first time the main course platter was served before the appetizer. Four dishes were laid out at once on a 45x45cm table (actually smaller than that) in an instant, and naturally, there wasn't enough space, including drinks. On top of that, the table was unbalanced and kept wobbling. I also have a lot to say about the waitress. During the mere hour or so we spent eating the appetizer, main course, and dessert, the waitress broke something twice. We were sitting right next to the cutlery sorting area, and she arranged the forks, knives, and spoons very carelessly, making a lot of noise. We visited at 3 PM, which is by no means a busy time, yet there were several behaviors that were incomprehensible. The owner is incredibly kind. However, the staff working under him act as if they are the owners themselves. I even happened to see it while paying on my way out; the kitchen staff were setting up the food while holding a phone in one hand. If this restaurant wants to continue improving, it seems some minor improvements are needed (although the food was still above average).

26/05/2026: They refused to put up parasols even though it was sunny, saying it was because of the wind, but there was no wind that lunchtime. We got sunburned during our meal.

06/06/2026: Tastes are very subjective, it's true, but for me, this is the best ramen in France! Having not been to Japan long enough, I wouldn't dare say the world, but in my heart, it's practically the same ;) The broth, the quantity, the ingredients, and the balance of flavors are perfectly executed, right down to the dessert (matcha tiramisu being a standout). Another testament to its quality: the restaurant has been around for almost 15 years!! I've been a regular since it opened and I've never been disappointed. Although I no longer live in Lyon, I love making pilgrimages back :) So, if you love ramen, go without hesitation, and if you're new to ramen, this is the best place to discover it ❤️ Long live Okawali!

24/05/2026: Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and most importantly—something that's rare—the prices are affordable with impeccable food quality! (€13.40 for lunch: miso soup + rice + coleslaw + 6 salmon and avocado California rolls + 6 salmon maki rolls is literally unbeatable, especially in the 6th arrondissement. They also generously offered me a free drink.) I highly recommend it!! ✨

24/06/2026: We ate there a few months ago and our experience was not satisfactory. The two bottles of Coke we were served had mold on the labels and we noticed they had expired over a year prior. As for the food, we found it to be of average quality and rather bland. This experience left us with a bad impression. I hope these points will be taken into account to improve hygiene and service.

25/06/2026: Found by chance, apparently chance works in mysterious ways!! Everything was perfect: fresh fish and vegetables!!! We recommend it without hesitation!!!

25/06/2026: The ONLY thing I can fault this restaurant for is the ambient noise, which is quite loud (I'm sensitive to that). Otherwise, it's fantastic. The service is professional (it sounds silly to say, but it's a rare quality in most restaurants these days). The food is well-prepared, especially the fries, there's a good variety of choices, and it's served quickly. It's still a chain restaurant (it's not a chef's menu), but it's of a good standard. In short, we happily go back every time.

15/06/2026: I had very fond memories of my previous visits, but tonight was such a disappointment. I chose the duck skewer, and the waiter told me it would be cooked pink, which was fine by me. But when the plate arrived, it was more like a skewer of yellow peppers with four measly pieces of overcooked duck (not very digestible for me; I'm still reeling from it). To top it all off, a little flag indicated it would be cooked "rare." Either the chef is colorblind, or we have completely different ideas about how well-cooked it should be. In short, stop ordering duck; it will only do you a disservice. It's a shame, because the other dishes looked quite good, and the desserts too.

16/06/2026: Restaurant U Nichjaretu An incredible experience! A breathtaking location, excellent food, an incredibly efficient team despite the large number of diners, and a sublime sunset! PERFECT!

12/06/2026: What a view! If you want good food combined with a sunset, you can't go wrong here! We had beef fillet and lamb, and both were delicious.

26/06/2026: The place is beautiful, very well decorated. We always receive a warm welcome, the dishes are reasonably priced and very good. A great find, we come back often.

22/06/2026: I'm a student in Paris, and a friend and I decided to treat ourselves to a meal at this Asian restaurant after seeing a caramel chicken for €12. Honestly, what a rip-off! For €12, we were served barely five pieces of chicken. And the worst part is that we discovered afterward that the rice was an extra €6.50. Not €1 or €2, no: €6.50 for rice. Of course, nobody tells you this when you order. The result: almost €20 for a tiny dish that wouldn't even fill a student up. I've rarely felt so ripped off in a restaurant. Advertising a dish for €12 when you have to add more than 50% of the price for a simple side dish is, at the very least, extremely dishonest. I left shocked, still hungry, and feeling like I'd paid the price of a proper meal for a few pieces of chicken and an overpriced bowl of rice. Given my student budget, I'll be counting every penny for the rest of the month. Avoid at all costs.
