05/07/2026: We came for dinner on the day the new owners took over. We had a Savoyard fondue. It was excellent, the view of Mont Blanc is incredible, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly!
The place is also very pretty and beautifully decorated!
So we came back the next day for lunch and had a ribeye steak. It was also excellent, melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly cooked.
We'll be back as soon as we're in the area again.

05/07/2026: We stumbled upon this mountain refuge by chance during our weekend getaway. We were expecting a rather old-fashioned place, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover on our first evening a completely renovated refuge, tastefully decorated, with a reasonably priced menu reflecting a clearly improved standard! We thoroughly enjoyed a fondue, and a special mention goes to the kindness and hospitality of the owners.

19/04/2026: Top ski resort. We were in Les Trois Vallées beforehand and went to Valfréjus for the day. Much better, quieter, and fewer tourists. Excellent snow quality, although the valley run might be a bit slushy in March.
21/03/2026: A very nice place for skiing in March. We arrived after a snowfall. However, not all the trails were groomed, and not all the trails were groomed daily.

07/07/2026: Today, July 7th, at 6:45 PM, I went into the shop to buy a dessert. Three saleswomen greeted me; I said hello, two didn't respond, and one said hello with a disapproving look on her face. I punished myself because I'd been craving it, but I left immediately.
