08/07/2026: Discovered by chance on a campervan trip. A complete meal (starter, main course, cheese, dessert, drink, and coffee) for 15 euros. All served by a lovely young woman. The address is noted and shared with other campervan travelers.

13/09/2026: They are very kind. I bought one of each kind, and they are all delicious. I was upset that the Rocher melted because I hadn't even opened the packaging to eat it after returning to Korea, but it is still delicious.
13/09/2026: A shop with quality chocolates, pleasant saleswomen who give good advice. Lots of choices, pre-made boxes or the option to create your own.

The restaurant is small, intimate, and comfortable, with limited seating. The dishes are typically French, beautifully presented, and very good, as are the wines. The owner is extremely kind and accommodating.

The homemade food was excellent, and the menu prices were very reasonable. 👍
The atmosphere is medieval, with a lovely stone vaulted ceiling and a small, intimate dining room, ideal for a romantic meal.
The service was very pleasant.

21/08/2026: A wonderful jazz evening at La Trinquette with the David Amar trio, who sing original jazz in French, accompanied by a pianist and drummer, both of exceptional talent. A warm welcome, a delicious buffet – in short, a great discovery and an experience to be repeated.
16/08/2026: La Trinquette is definitely my favorite spot in Villefranche, or at least one of the last places to remain true to the town.
Here, you can take the time to talk, eat, and daydream. Leaving the restaurant, the other establishments on the port are like Parisian cafés at rush hour.
If only for the warm welcome (not to mention the generous portions), go for it!
