14/04/2026: Excellent food and prices, but the service and noise level need improvement... It's a shame because food is a journey (tastes, colors, etc.) and you leave feeling satisfied...

13/04/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. I've never had such a bad meal in Lyon. Even small Indian snack bars are far better. The meat clearly tasted like it had been there a day, and the plate was full of bones and thick layers of fat… unacceptable, especially considering the prices. I love Indian food, but this was nothing like what you'd expect: the dish was frankly disgusting. As a result, my stomach still hurts, even though I usually have a strong stomach. In short, steer clear if you don't want to be disappointed.

16/05/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant, well located with a large terrace. The food is superb, both the pizzas and the pasta. The service is quick and attentive. Children are very welcome with a special menu and even a lollipop for dessert.

11/05/2026: A very, very good restaurant... a very warm welcome. The dish was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious.

03/05/2026: My friends and I went to La Souillarde hoping to have a nice time during our annual vacation. What a disappointment it was… it was a culinary disaster! First, a fly (according to the waitress) landed under a goat cheese toast. Then, a hair appeared in the truffade… which was paired with a cheap slice of raw ham, probably from a supermarket. Furthermore, a €26 ribeye steak that was nothing like a ribeye. Just fat, sinew, and it wasn't cooked properly… in short, inedible. We also ordered a glass of red wine, which we weren't given a choice of, and it arrived at the table without any further explanation… In short, we could also mention the frozen desserts and the waitress's complete lack of concern for all these problems, but it's best to leave it at that. We do not recommend this restaurant.

29/06/2026: What a colossal waste. How can an institution in the 18th arrondissement offer such a mediocre experience? A 25-minute wait for a simple breakfast, no smile, no greeting, no apology. Then came the appalling food: a reheated, mass-produced pancake with a metal wire in it, maple syrup with a cap covered in crystallized sugar, and mediocre coffee. The checkout process was just as bad as everything else: no self-reflection, no apology, only inappropriate familiarity. The €13 isn't the problem. The problem is the contempt for the customer and the complete lack of respect for the profession. An establishment with such a history deserves infinitely better than this experience.

25/06/2026: The burger is admittedly classic but very good, and the fries are just as good. The bread basket, however, must have been disqualified for doping, as it didn't compete. It's a shame because even though there's bread both above and below the patty, I wouldn't mind having my belly stuffed again.

21/05/2026: Very good sushi ordered on Uber Eats, they think of napkins, chopsticks and sauces which is really nice!

05/03/2026: Some restaurants get good reviews. Fautea, however, deserves a category of its own. I've been eating here for 10 years now… and if I'd known from the first time I'd become addicted, I might have signed up for a membership right away. Anthony is at the helm, supported by his mother and sister, and together they've invented a rather rare formula: a beach restaurant where everything is perfect without ever taking itself too seriously. The welcome is so warm that you feel like you're arriving at a friend's house… who, luckily, are incredibly good cooks. On the plate: fresh produce, generous portions, simple cuisine, but just the kind you dream of on vacation. Everything tastes of sunshine, the sea, and good times that linger too long around the table. But Fautea's true signature is them. Anthony, his mother, and his sister have that precious talent: making every customer feel like a regular, even on their first visit. The result: you come for lunch… you stay for the atmosphere… and you end up coming back every year. Personally, after 10 years, I can confirm one thing: this restaurant is dangerous. You very quickly get used to being happy there. In short, if you're ever in the area, there's only one possible mistake: don't stop at Fautea. Brice, Talita & little Arthur

27/06/2026: I'm not used to writing reviews, but after three years of frequenting The Kursaal and always receiving excellent service, I'm touched by the care the team has taken to serve their neighborhood with kindness and friendliness during this infernal heatwave. After days without feeling like eating or cooking, I tried the Thai beef salad, and it was wonderful. Plus, the coffee is fantastic. Thank you, The Kursaal, you'll always have a loyal customer in me ♥️

20/04/2026: Stopped for a coffee and they looked after my stuff when I went to the local supermarket across the street. Solo motorcycle travel can be tricky but places like that helps a lot. The location and the staff are also great!

01/03/2026: We received a very warm welcome! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the meals were generous and delicious! We ordered two savory crepes ("Dré dans le pantu" & "sur une malentendu") which were very generously filled and then difficult to finish! We will definitely be back with our family! I highly recommend it!

25/04/2026: An excellent restaurant that stands out, especially during the Ham Festival in Bayonne. Discovered by chance, the dishes were delicious. The son runs the dining room and his father is in the kitchen. Authentic French cuisine, flavorful and generous. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back. Thank you, it was a real pleasure to have a beautifully set table and dine in such a calm and pleasant setting.

01/06/2026: A very good Italian restaurant, with high-quality ingredients and dishes. It's a bit pricey, but the food is excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. You can even have a coffee or buy some good quality pastries.
