14/07/2026: Delicious crepes and great service, however I would have appreciated it if the person making the crepes had worn a hairnet, hygiene-wise. I ate my crepes thinking I might get hair in them, luckily I didn't, but in all restaurants cooks have their hair covered, especially if it's long.

25/08/2026: Definitely the best restaurant in Melun. Without any real competition in town, it's one of the rare restaurants/brasserie where you can eat truly well, with plenty of choice, quantity, and quality—a word to the wise. The staff is fantastic, and the decor is lovely too, even if the price is a bit high, but that's typical of all brasseries of this type in the Paris region. In any case, I've been twice and I've never been disappointed, which is great!

12/09/2026: A site with a confusing purpose: a mix of convent, prison, and art museum all at once. It ends up being nothing at all. The abbey, like many other sites, was emptied during the French Revolution. But no effort was made to recover or reconstruct the interior decor, either through purchases or loans from various museums. So, apart from the recumbent effigies, the abbey is devoid of everything that made it a religious site. Only the stone remains. But the abbey was used as a source of building materials and as a prison for over a century. So there were additions and destructions to change the site's purpose. Therefore, the abbey itself is in a sorry state and difficult to distinguish from the prison. Finally, they put a modern art museum in there. So you see a bit of everything all mixed together. We searched the site thoroughly and left disappointed.

11/09/2026: A place that feels airy, even though it was formerly a monastery or prison. Eleanor of Aquitaine, her husband Henry II, their son Richard the Lionheart, and their daughter-in-law are buried there. Very impressive and not at all creepy.

22/08/2026: Great experience! I had the classic burger and it was really good—tasty, well prepared, and exactly what I was looking for. The location is also beautiful, and the service was very fast. We were welcomed by a tattooed waiter whose name we unfortunately don’t remember, but he was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. He also gave us lots of great recommendations for tourist attractions and places to visit, which was really appreciated. I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a very welcoming and family-friendly place with great service, a lovely atmosphere, and delicious food. We had a wonderful time!

27/08/2026: I ate here today, August 27th, finishing around 13h30. The meal and service during the lunch itself were fine, and we paid our bill in full and walked out. Less than a minute after leaving, I realized I needed to use the restroom, so I walked right back inside. I did the polite thing: I approached a female staff member at the front and asked permission to use the facilities. She kindly pointed me in the right direction. However, when I came back upstairs to leave, the male waiter who had just served our table and taken our payment less than two minutes prior blocked me. He aggressively demanded in English that "next time be polite and ask," repeating it multiple times in a highly confrontational, rude tone. I remained entirely calm and asked him what he meant, but he continued his unprovoked tantrum, completely failing to recognize a customer who had just paid him. The most telling part of this interaction was that his own female coworker was standing right there, actively telling him to "stop" and asking him what he was doing. She smiled and validated me as I left. It is completely unacceptable for a server to treat paying customers with such immediate hostility and amnesia the second money changes hands. To the female staff member who tried to stop him: thank you for your professionalism. To the management: check your shift logs for 13h30 today. Your male waiter is an absolute liability to your business.

24/08/2026: We've been to this place for aperitivo a couple of times: the first time we ordered a 1.5-liter XXL cocktail to share (fantastic, balanced, and without tons of useless ice), but we added chicken quesadillas by listing them on the menu, resulting in some misunderstandings, and a salad arrived (I think it was a chicken fajita Boule, definitely not what we wanted)... and oh well... to avoid any problems, we let it slide, but on the receipt, the mistake was there, double the price... and oh well... among other things, while we were paying, someone inside was throwing glasses on the floor behind the bar... and oh well... the next time we ordered the XXL cocktail again, we found 3/4 of it was ice and mint, and there was very little left to drink; the cocktail was generally watered down... 🤔 Too bad...

First you eat with your eyes and after it's a delicate flavor, a real experience of taste The chef here cook with passion,love and experience. The service is great and kind, Nath knows how to treat people. I strongly recommend this pearl!

16/06/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The non-smoking/vaping terrace was a real plus, and the meals were exquisite and delicious (we ordered à la carte – thank you to the chef). We also had an excellent suggestion for a post-meal stroll along the Adour River (thank you to the waitress). We highly recommend this establishment; it's definitely worth a visit!
