07/10/2026: Honestly, a wonderful discovery! 😊 The staff was absolutely fantastic, incredibly kind, and above all, very attentive. We immediately felt at ease. The food was delicious and so fresh; we thoroughly enjoyed it! And the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. We ate very well without breaking the bank. I highly recommend this place; we'll definitely be back! ❤️

So thank you all for the wonderful times we spend at The Roof. I highly recommend it!

28/07/2026: Thursday evening... Drinks with a friend. Very friendly welcome. Knowing I was new to Clermont-Ferrand, Lionel and his friend went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After dinner, we came back to finish the evening with the karaoke night, and wow... What a night! Great atmosphere, fantastic clientele, and amazing staff. Truly a must-visit spot. Thanks again to everyone for this incredible time!

22/10/2026: First time we've visited in winter. The setting with the fireplace is very cozy and pleasant, and the owner and his wife are incredibly helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the Swiss fondue. I highly recommend it!

21/10/2026: The food was pretty good… but the waitress was so incredibly unfriendly. Frankly, it was very unpleasant! It completely ruined the atmosphere! It doesn't make me want to go back at all!!!

12/09/2026: I only gave it 4 stars, simply because I didn't understand the requirement to order desserts at the same time as the starters and main courses. The menu said: Dessert made to order?? At the same time, ice cream is ice cream, but that doesn't detract from the quality of the ingredients. There were only 8 customers, including us.?! Otherwise, the servers were excellent, the setting superb, and the food superb.

02/09/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We came this evening as a couple to see the waterfall and discovered this fabulous restaurant! The menu looked enticing from the moment we read it, and we weren't disappointed! The very friendly waiter gave us a perfect welcome. From the appetizer to the dessert, our taste buds were delighted! At the end of our meal, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, who told us he would be taking over the restaurant in 2024. We highly recommend this restaurant to food lovers and those who appreciate fine cuisine. The quality-to-price ratio is excellent. We recommend it 100%!

12/09/2026: No cheese available on Saturday night at 7.30pm with no alternative, saucisson is average and expensive 30€ almost double price vs anywhere else around. Wine by glass few choices and so-so. Very doubtful of all good reviews on Trip advisor and Google - Try another one !

15/09/2026: Hello, I wanted to thank the staff for their very friendly, welcoming, and professional service. The restaurant was very clean and reasonably priced. I will gladly return to eat there, though I am still a little apprehensive.

13/09/2026: Awful experience. I went there this Saturday, September 13th, hoping to get something to eat. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by stifling heat and a musty smell. There were four of us, and we each ordered two €4.95 meals with two burgers. We had a choice between beef and chicken, and being avid athletes, we mostly opted for chicken. But when our order arrived after a 30-minute wait... THE CHICKEN WAS UNDERCOOKED AND COLD! We then went to the registers to exchange our burgers because, as you know, undercooked chicken can contain salmonella, a deadly bacteria. Imagine our surprise when the bald, bespectacled, and slightly bloated man told us, in the most disrespectful way possible, that it was simply chicken and that they wouldn't be exchanged. I am very disappointed with this experience and in order to avoid any further bad news I am going to call the health department to check this restaurant.

14/07/2026: Well located, 25-30 minutes from the sights. The bedding is excellent; you sleep very well.
