20/08/2026: Stopped at David's during my lunch break. Excellent galettes and crêpes. Everything is homemade and you can tell! Very pleasant setting!

26/07/2026: Passing through Sées during a road trip in Normandy, we stumbled upon David's place and had a wonderful meal. For under €30, we got a bowl of cider, two savory buckwheat galettes, and two sweet crêpes for dessert. It was fresh, delicious, and served in a lovely setting. Thanks to David, if we're ever back in Sées, we'll definitely stop by again.

08/08/2026: Once again, a very enjoyable time spent at this establishment. (First visit 2023) The service is impeccable, both from the young, newly qualified waitress and her more experienced colleague. The food is delicious, with a fried carp that was simply excellent—for me, the best. Delicate batter, light frying, perfect cooking. The dessert was divine, and the house aperitif was truly excellent. Two small personal observations, offered with the best of intentions: In the regional menu, the terrine is good, but the crudités are a little below your usual standard. The house dessert is slightly overrated. Otherwise, as I said: impeccable. It's a 1 hour 15 minute drive, but I will gladly return. 👍👍

21/08/2026: We're regulars, but the concept has changed and the prices have increased dramatically. The quality is there, but the foie gras on the beef Rossini was really small compared to before. The waitress was unpleasant and haughty with us, so we were disappointed. Despite several years of loyalty, this will unfortunately be the last time we eat at this place. Very disappointed 😡😡🤬

It's truly a pleasure to be greeted with such good humor and friendliness! Her colleagues were also very pleasant, smiling, and attentive. A truly friendly team, which is immediately apparent in the restaurant's atmosphere. And a big thank you also to one of the team members who ran to retrieve a bag we had forgotten. Honestly, that's a gesture that deserves to be highlighted! 🙏 Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and kindness. The mixed fish was fresh and well-prepared, and the tiramisu was very well done (it's not the most complicated dessert, but it's too often poorly executed). The service was efficient and very friendly, and the price was very reasonable. They have some great cocktails. I would gladly return.

04/09/2026: We felt welcome from the very first moment. Since we were too early for dinner, we passed the time with a delicious cocktail. We were also lucky enough to find it was happy hour. Then it was time for dinner, and it was incredibly delicious and sophisticated. I had octopus with yogurt, mint, apple, celery, and potatoes. I've rarely eaten such an exceptional dish. The presentation of the food was also excellent. I would especially like to commend the incredibly friendly and attentive service. The server was extremely helpful, and communication worked well despite our limited language skills. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant.
