19/02/2026: Extremely disappointed. We came with colleagues and waited ages for food that was simply not up to standard: the "dish of the day" was a disgraceful cordon bleu with unmelted cheese and barely lukewarm meat. For the price, it's shameful.

30/03/2026: Absolutely avoid this place! There was no menu, no wine list, just a flimsy sheet of paper. The meat (ordered rare) was served overcooked with a crunchy risotto, and the fish was undercooked and inedible. Our plates were taken away almost full, and the owner didn't seem at all surprised. Only the cheese we ordered (we were hungry) was good. Given the appalling service (an inexperienced waitress who offered no wine or anything else, but simply asked us to pass each plate to her), we obviously didn't order dessert or coffee, especially since we were freezing in the restaurant. When it came time to pay the bill, the owner didn't offer any compensation or gesture of goodwill, so as not to leave us feeling disappointed and thoroughly let down. In short, a disastrous experience.

02/04/2026: Excellent experience at Chez Tran in Toulouse. I was delighted by the beef bo bun, which was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Our waiter, Julien, was very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. The decor blends modern touches with Asian influences, creating a soothing atmosphere. You can feel the attention to detail in every dish. I highly recommend this restaurant to lovers of Asian cuisine.

10/05/2026: Honestly, at this restaurant, you're mostly paying for the decor and the service. The food was frankly mediocre and far below our expectations. Even the seafood wasn't fresh and had a strong rancid taste. My family and I are very disappointed with this experience. I don't know how some people can give it good reviews, but if you're someone who truly appreciates good food and fresh ingredients, you wouldn't even give it a rating.

18/04/2026: I thought I'd already eaten sauerkraut before going to this restaurant… but no! It was the first time I'd ever had REAL sauerkraut, with cabbage cooked in Riesling and a mild mustard on the side (not Dijon mustard, then)… the staff really took great care of their customers. Traditional, home-style cooking… a world away from tourist traps.

12/04/2026: This is a hidden gem downtown Strasbourg. It’s better to book the table, but we were lucky with walk-in. Food is traditional, homemade a tastes great.

20/05/2026: Normally profiteroles are three scoops of vanilla ice cream, but here they served us two. The chocolate was fermented and had a rather unpleasant smell. I've tasted profiteroles before, but these were awful. I advise you, hygiene-wise, it's not acceptable.

16/05/2026: We chose this brasserie for lunch and to watch a rugby match. We received a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff. The meal was delicious and plentiful, and reasonably priced. To top it all off, the atmosphere is very relaxed in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back to this pub next time I'm in the area.

02/05/2026: I didn't like the pizza, the dough wasn't tasty, it should have been cooked properly; after I ordered it, he already wrapped it up for me in 3 minutes, which is unrealistic.

15/05/2026: A great place that's worth discovering. It's a good option for lunch when visiting the Museoparc Alésia. We had a reservation. We ate well; the tiramisu could have used more coffee or amaretto, or both, but that's just our personal preference ;) The place is small and therefore gets noisy quickly, but the friendly smiles and warm welcome more than make up for it. We'll definitely go back, being from the area.

02/05/2026: Incredible evening with an exceptional meal and excellent service, although the staff seemed a bit overworked and rushed, not calm enough in the end. However, I do have one suggestion to improve our future visit to this magnificent restaurant: we were seated inside, and the temperature was unbearable. I was surprised the architect didn't prioritize comfort for the guests; it's a basic requirement at this level. I recommend this place to all food lovers. 23/04/2026: Appalling. Completely unprofessional. 1.5 hours between aperitif and meal. Fish-flavored cake. They cheated on the champagne. They call themselves a restaurant, but it's just a bistro.

08/05/2026: Very disappointed with this new menu where local products have disappeared (eels, frog legs). I don't go to restaurants to eat paninis, sandwiches, etc., so I won't be going back. It's a shame; it used to be a good place in the Marais.
