28/08/2026: Sorry, we were disappointed. The food wasn't really Thai. My plate was cleared before my friend had finished his. There weren't many people there.

25/08/2026: We came last Saturday and had a wonderful time! Delicious Thai dishes; especially the "Tom Yam" soup, which was exceptional! The staff were friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere. We'll be back.

22/08/2026: We were just passing through and looking for a place to have lunch. The owner and her team are lovely and professional, the food is excellent, from the vegetables (crisp, marinated, and well-seasoned) to all the meat dishes we ate, which were perfectly cooked and tender. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back! A must-stop if you're in the area.

14/10/2026: We've been customers for years, and now our children join us. The staff is helpful and dedicated to customer satisfaction, serving high-quality food. Definitely worth a visit if you're still undecided.

15/10/2026: While on holiday in a nearby gîte, our host recommended this restaurant, specifying that it was best to book in advance. We understood why! A family-run restaurant in a pleasant setting, excellent and generous home-style cooking at a very reasonable price, quick and friendly service, a great atmosphere – everything was perfect for us during our visit to the Ariège region. In addition, a leisurely stroll allowed us to visit an interesting village!

And the food is just as beautiful as it is delicious, featuring high-quality ingredients and exceptional freshness. The service is also impeccable, with a lovely, attentive, and incredibly caring team. We had a wonderful time, and it's definitely a place I'll be happy to return to!

14/10/2026: Le Poivrier restaurant is located in the city center of Le Puy-en-Velay, on Rue Pannessac, near the boulevard and the Carnot parking lot. The menu offers several set menus for lunch or dinner, as well as a varied selection of dishes made with regional products. We opted for the Discovery Menu, which offered excellent value for money, featuring dishes such as lentil salad with duck breast, duck leg with blue cheese, and chestnut fondant with vanilla ice cream. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the service was impeccable. The staff presented each dish and explained its ingredients. The setting is pleasant, and the decor is tasteful. A very good restaurant for enjoying a delicious meal and spending a wonderful evening in Le Puy-en-Velay.

30/09/2026: I booked through TheFork and my reservation was confirmed by email. When I arrived at the restaurant, the gentleman at the reception explained that they hadn't had time to inform me that they were fully booked. It was to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Very disappointed, I will never go back.

03/10/2026: I came with my partner on a Friday evening. The welcome was fantastic, the atmosphere calm and understated, a real pleasure to be able to converse without having to raise our voices. The meal was excellent, with incredible flavors. The value for money is more than fair. We loved our evening. I recommend this restaurant for a date night...or even for a larger group (personally, I don't think this restaurant is suitable for young children...but that's just my opinion).
