02/09/2026: As is often the case, we came for lunch on the terrace today, and the meal was a disaster: - We were initially only offered the set menu, not the à la carte menu. We had to insist on getting it. - Several dishes were missing. - My granddaughter's (4 years old) meal took a very long time to be served. - The meat on the set menu (grilled short rib) was extremely tough. - The dish was described as "Café de Paris sauce," but it was just two small pieces of herb butter. - My prawn salad was 90% lettuce and swimming in dressing. - My son was served the wrong dessert from the set menu. - I wasn't offered any dessert (no dessert menu was brought to me). - We weren't offered any coffee. - To top it all off, my granddaughter wasn't served syrup, even though it was included in the children's menu. I only realized it at the end of the meal and was told I should have asked for it during the meal! No apology whatsoever, and what's more, I had to insist to get the syrup deducted from the bill! It's not about the few euros for the syrup, but the proper etiquette would have been for them to apologize for forgetting (it happens to everyone) and, above all, to spontaneously offer to deduct its cost from the bill! Instead, the manager left grumbling at me without any apology!… We used to frequent this restaurant, but it's clear we won't be returning given the poor quality of our meal! A word to the wise!

31/08/2026: Nice little bar for a coffee, but the food is a bit disappointing; only the French speakers don't seem to make much effort to speak English. I had a hamburger that was a bit too raw and had an abundance of French cheeses on it. The daily special was great.

18/08/2026: On our way back from the Abbey of La Pierre-qui-Vire, we stopped for lunch today and received a warm welcome. The main courses and desserts were excellent; a big thank you to the chef! Our waitress served us very well and with a smile! We will gladly return sometime!

02/09/2026: Forgotten (for a pint), a deserted terrace at 3 pm with the lunchtime dishes still uncleared, and two waitresses who were completely exhausted, dragging their feet and, to top it off, being unpleasant and far from welcoming! They were settling scores in front of the customers over who would do the overtime... catastrophic behavior! Luckily, there was a waiter who saved the day; he must have a tough time of it...

27/08/2026: Fantastic experience! The crepes are divine, as are the tartare and fish. The staff are incredibly attentive and efficient, and the location is charming. A must-visit in Loix.

28/09/2026: An asian relief from creamy (and saltless if I dare add) French food and its prices. The young waiter was very patient with our touristy deliberations and silly half English - half French questions; the portions were generous and the level of spicyness was adjusted per our order. Good food, vibrant atmospher, very reasonable prices for once in this city (you havent been in Paris if you didn't find yourself paying 20 euros for coffee and cake).

15/09/2026: Original Chinese Sichuan Taste Very taste but extremely hot and spicy for most Westerners. For Chinese/Asians, the taste really kicks in. Very fast preparation, 10 minutes for 4 persons, Very large portion even for Asians, extreme bang for bucks. Staffs are responsive, will refill the water and give you paper napkins right away. 10/10/2026: My friend and I have eaten at this restaurant several times. Unfortunately, almost every time I go, the owner is drunk and starts shouting in the restaurant. This completely ruins the experience, even though the food is quite good and the service is very pleasant and friendly. Yesterday, I even saw a fly in another customer's dish, which made me feel nauseous. Shortly after paying, while we were on our way home, my friend and I both had stomach aches after eating pho. What disappoints me most is that the owner seems to be regularly drunk and spends his time yelling at people. It's a real shame because, despite the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff, I won't be returning to this restaurant and I won't recommend it.

04/08/2026: Superb place. Exceptional view. Very pleasant staff. A few more sandwich options and it would be 5 stars. For coffee and aperitifs, this is the place to go.

03/08/2026: Frankly, I'm from the area and was just visiting family. I was very disappointed with this establishment. It was unbearably hot. I went to the bar and casually asked for a lemonade. Admittedly, I was served a lukewarm lemonade, which wasn't pleasant at all. Anyway, I moved on. I came back an hour later with my children and nephews for ice cream. I waited a long time to finally be served. The man finally arrived, and I told him I needed several ice creams. He asked me how I would pay, without even registering my order. I replied by credit card, and he said, "I'll keep you waiting, the card machine isn't working properly." Meanwhile, I saw many customers being served at the bar. I also saw their payments going through. One of the waitresses was serving ice cream, and I asked why I wasn't being served. I was told to wait again. After 20 minutes, I told the children, "Come on, let's go!" They didn't want to serve us. I've been in the business for 27 years, and I I've never seen anything like it, the way we were approached and treated. It was a blessing in disguise, because just a few steps away was the night market, a truck selling delicious homemade ice cream at much lower prices. But in any case, they'll never see us again. There were 11 of us, and they must have been annoyed to have to serve us.

04/09/2026: Good ice cream with original flavors. The popcorn flavor was excellent. But I was disappointed by the Bueno flavor and the Nutella crepe, which was quite thin.

25/06/2026: A superb gastronomic experience in an exceptional setting. The refined cuisine showcases local produce with originality yet simplicity, in a warm and intimate atmosphere. The dining room decor is very well done. I particularly enjoyed the open kitchen, allowing you to watch the team at work and get up close to the chefs. And the sunset over Lake Bourget on the horizon... I was delighted to discover the restaurant during its first week of opening. Bravo!
