13/09/2026: I very rarely leave negative reviews, generally preferring to highlight positive experiences. But in this case, the telephone reception unfortunately deserves a mention. Arriving in Dieppe today, we simply wanted to reserve a table at a crêperie for this evening. Seeing that the establishment indicated a 9 pm closing time, I called to ask if it would be possible to come for dinner around 8 pm. I didn't even have time to finish my sentence. The woman on the phone abruptly cut me off to tell me that "it's 7:30 pm" and that there were no other seatings... before hanging up on me. Not a "sorry," not a polite explanation, not even a goodbye. Apparently, letting the other person finish a sentence is already asking too much. Given the numerous positive reviews, the food might be excellent. Unfortunately, we won't have the opportunity to verify this: the telephone reception was more than enough for us. It's perfectly acceptable to refuse a reservation or explain that a particular time slot isn't possible. Politeness, however, shouldn't be optional—especially in a profession where hospitality is part of the experience. Too bad. We'll spend our money elsewhere tonight.

23/10/2026: Excellent lunch, excellent bottle of wine. The markups on the wines are very reasonable. And when you read the wine list, you understand that the owner is a wine enthusiast ;)

03/09/2026: Great restaurant near the center of Velaux! Value for money is their motto, and the service is friendly and quick. I had oven-roasted Camembert with a sprig of rosemary, charcuterie, salad, fries, and homemade mayonnaise. A real treat, I highly recommend it.

26/10/2026: Excellent place, don't hesitate! Despite a chaotic arrival, as our arrival time changed several times, everything went smoothly. A warm and accommodating welcome, a well-chosen menu, quality cuisine, friendly and professional service, a pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, and coloring activities to keep the children entertained... The only slight drawback was a bit of a wait, but given how late we were, we weren't going to complain... In conclusion, a very good place, don't hesitate!

25/10/2026: What a lovely place! A family-run restaurant with charming and cozy decor, offering inventive and sophisticated cuisine that's a feast for the eyes and the palate. The homemade foie gras (like everything else on the menu) with Vin Jaune and morels is truly exceptional. A brief presentation of the dishes upon serving would complete the picture and further highlight the chef's skill. €46 for an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, wine, and coffee is more than reasonable. I'll be back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the terrace overlooking the Durgeon River.

08/10/2026: A very good restaurant; we went twice. Everything was perfect the first time (a Sunday) with a delicious Spanish-style hake and very good desserts. The second time was less successful. The sea bass with beurre blanc sauce was listed on the chalkboard menu at the entrance, but the restaurant hadn't received its delivery (which we understand), but updating the menus is essential! The service was very average the second time (we were there on a weekday), and the waitress's cheerfulness had vanished! As a result, we've deducted a star from our overall rating.

16/10/2026: Wonderful dining experience. The location took us a second to find but the atmosphere is wonderful. The food exceeded our expectations and the desert was phenomenal. Would absolutely dine here again.

24/10/2026: Have eaten here for a few years, the food this time was not as good and tge service was lacking so bad that the server didn’t even get our order right (didn't write it down, tried from memory) and we did not get our meal. Very disappointed for a restaurant that requires a reservation and is on the high end of pricing.
