15/09/2026: It was good, but the only downside is that someone who eats very little isn't allowed to order the children's menu, and they don't even offer minced steak, even though it's on the children's menu.

07/10/2026: The menu is good and not too expensive. The menu is enticing and worth exploring on my next visits, as there will be many. The service was impeccable and friendly; unfortunately, I don't remember the waiter's name, but I'll ask him on my next visit. I'll try to figure out how to correct it on Maps. I recommend it; it's in a small, unassuming shopping center. Please note, it's a restaurant, not a hotel.

14/09/2026: Passing through, we enjoyed the restaurant on a quiet Sunday lunchtime. Good selection of beers, nice appetizer platter for €10, good main courses for €16, simple but effective (chicken gratin and filet mignon).

21/09/2026: The €25 lunch menu is decent, if not exceptional, and the service on the terrace is very good. However, several aspects leave much to be desired. The price of wine by the carafe is far too high considering the price of the set menu. It's an extra charge that ultimately makes the bill rather unappealing. Another disappointment: the selection of draft beers is very limited. There's only one American beer and a few basic beers, with no truly interesting alternatives. For a restaurant in this price range, one would expect a bit more choice. But the most surprising point is the dessert. It's impossible to replace the "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with coffee) with a "thé gourmand" (a selection of small desserts served with tea) in the set menu, on the pretext that tea is more expensive. This argument is perplexing: the cost of ingredients for tea, like that for coffee, remains very low. Refusing this simple substitution gives the impression of an excessively rigid pricing policy for a seemingly negligible difference in cost. In short, a €25 plan that could be appealing, but certain business decisions and a lack of flexibility clearly spoil the experience. At that price, one has the right to expect more choice and a little more consideration for the customer.

16/10/2025: Traditional, refined, and elegant cuisine. A warm welcome and fairly quick service. Pleasant setting with a view of the cathedral. Located between the old town and the city center. One of the few restaurants in Le Mans open for Sunday lunch, which is a definite plus.
