06/06/2026: We were there a few weeks ago and I am still thinking about a few courses that I enjoyed. Even though they are going through a transition period with the loss of the chef, everyone there has maintained a high quality of food and service. We chose the 5 courses with wine pairing and it was just phenomenal! The sommelier Monsieur Tissot made it a point to carefully explain what he was pouring and why it was paired with each particular dish. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does and is passionate about wine! I will be sure to visit each time I return to Paris. A bientôt 🩷

So welcome to Chalet des Gentianes. A place nestled in nature, the starting point for dozens of walks. Thank you for your welcome, your kindness, and your cheerful disposition. We feasted our eyes and our stomachs. An unforgettable weekend all together; the location and the welcome were a huge plus for this weekend. Thank you.

03/05/2026: The service was very pleasant, and the waitress was always smiling. A little extra topping on the flammekueche, especially around the edges, would have been a real plus! But the flammekueche themselves were very good. The upstairs room is very noisy and echoes a lot.

17/05/2026: I celebrated my birthday at the Stendhal by booking the apartment. The staff was friendly and efficient, and we had a great evening. Thank you to everyone! Note: the reservation closes at midnight, but it's possible to continue the evening at the bar 🙂

The staff is friendly, the drinks and food are varied and quite good without being expensive, the place is charming and brings the neighborhood to life from early morning until late. You can even rent a small private room in the back for matches and birthdays :) (And I'm a big fan of the weekend couscous!)

For a hotel in a small village and at a reasonable price, I 100% recommend it. Clean, well-equipped, comfortable bed, and a very friendly owner! If you need to stay in the area, don't hesitate! Plus, there's parking in front of and behind the hotel. 👍👍👍👍
