19/04/2026: It's very strange; the overwhelmingly positive Google reviews are multiplying after years of a terrible reputation. I tried Ting Ting three months ago. My worst Chinese food experience ever. None of the four of us finished our plates.

26/09/2026: If you are going to seat guests inside near the bar, PLEASE do not employ a bartender with such a rude attitude. We sat in the middle table closest to the bar back and the bartender was yelling at other servers, giving my wife and child horrible looks, and slamming every glass, bottle, drink down on the bar that she could. There was zero way this wasn’t deliberate and it was right behind my ears to the point she literally gave me a headache. After asking to be moved and being denied because the restaurant was either too busy or didn’t care, we sat through the rest of what would have been a good meal absolutely miserable. This was a textbook definition of how atmosphere can ruin a very good restaurant with poor service and attitude.

22/09/2026: The food was okay. The service could have been better. We had the stuffed mussels and prawn linguine pasta. Everything was pretty okay.

21/02/2026: A fantastic surprise! Right from the start, you're immersed in the atmosphere: * The place is a bit hidden; you have to ring the bell to request access. * You have to find the code to get in (it's easy to find, even for those who are a bit timid). We arrived with Jack Sparrow, who offered us delicious cocktails. We asked him to make us cocktails to his liking, and honestly, he was amazing! They were so good! I only deducted one star for the atmosphere because perhaps the bright lighting could be toned down. But that's just a minor detail. We highly recommend it! Don't hesitate to press the button to request access.

05/03/2026: If you want to eat a good burger, you can go there with your eyes closed; it's delicious, fresh, and the combinations are well thought out. However, I find them a little pricey! But as they say, quality comes at a price. I look forward to coming back to Lons to eat your burgers!

08/03/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. One hour for the starter, nearly two hours to finish the main course. The food was decent, if simple (the only side dish was dauphinoise potatoes). At 2:35 pm, after more than two hours at the table, we very politely asked if it would be possible to speed up the cheese course or move on to dessert. The response: if we were in a hurry, we should have said so when we arrived… and it's already a good thing the restaurant is open on Sundays. So we moved on to dessert: no fruit, unlike at other tables. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect. When I calmly pointed it out, the chef replied: "You won't be back anyway," then added that I would have been better off saying nothing since the Mâcon wine was more expensive. He then accused us of having changed the menu… confusing us with the next table. And concluded: "If you're in a hurry on a Sunday, go to McDonald's." “At 50, and after eating at many restaurants, this is the first time I’ve been treated like this. The food was decent, but the welcome and service were truly regrettable.” Everyone will have their own opinion.

30/09/2026: A cozy, family-run restaurant with a good selection of food and friendly, helpful service. They cater to individual requests (gluten-free) and have a nice selection of excellent wines.

12/09/2026: I agree with several reviews I read before my visit. I should have listened to them... The portions on the plate are small. We ordered the burgers, and the buns were really dry and hadn't risen at all. Despite the restaurant's explanation, there's clearly a problem with the bread rising properly—a point that definitely needs fixing. The toppings were good but not very generous (no more bread basket with a burger...). There was only one wine by the glass, and it was very average quality for €7.50 a glass. (The red wine tasted corked.) They did have a children's menu, but the fish of the day had a really strong flavor. Even when our daughter doesn't finish her plate, we usually finish her meals, but this fish was inedible (we mentioned it to the waiter, but received no response or gesture of goodwill). The dessert was unremarkable, and the "soft cake" wasn't a soft cake at all; it was far too dry. In conclusion, the value for money was very poor. I was disappointed and won't be returning.

16/09/2026: The place is great, the staff not great, they respond quite coldly and shout from the bar to ask us what we want even though there were a lot of people and a lot of noise, in short we did not have a good time.

12/09/2026: It was a nice place to eat by the beautiful lake. The food quality was good, and the service was friendly and spoke English.

07/09/2026: The buffet is fairly varied and decent, but not exceptional in terms of taste. The option to cook your own wok dishes is a nice touch. However, the prices are too high for what's offered: €23.90 on a Saturday night, especially since we pay the same price for an 11-year-old, is far too expensive. Drinks aren't even included, so you might as well go to a restaurant where you pay a set menu; it's cheaper. What a shame.

17/09/2026: Very good, we enjoyed mussels and fries, a very pleasant little restaurant with a superb view of the port.

12/09/2026: I strongly advise against it. The food was frozen and poorly cooked; the prawns were undercooked, barely warm, and full of water. The fries were also undercooked and indigestible. Seriously, avoid this place. You're better off eating a sandwich, a crepe, etc.

12/09/2026: So as soon as there are a few people around, the quality drops, it's chaos: cold fries, lukewarm burger with unmelted cheese, flat drink (flat Coke). I don't even understand how you manage to serve us this while looking us straight in the eye.

05/09/2026: My son ate at this restaurant with his girlfriend. They both got sick. My son caught a germ due to poor hygiene. He's been hospitalized for 15 days and they still don't know how to treat him. This restaurant should be completely avoided.

01/06/2026: We had a delicious, super-sized sandwich for a very cheap price. It was actually too much for one person. Delicious fresh ingredients on our chicken combination. We ate outside; that isn't the nicest spot, but it suits a bakery. The service was very helpful and considerate.

05/10/2026: Don't be surprised that there are fewer and fewer people. By 8:00 PM, all the dishes are cold. By 8:20 PM, the plates are empty. Few customers, but the tables haven't been wiped down. There's no sense of proper hygiene anymore, and a lot of neglect. In my opinion, it needs new management.

16/09/2026: The best shop I've ever visited! I don't usually leave reviews, but I was so surprised that, frankly, everything was perfect! The welcome, the smiles, the helpful suggestions, the well-organized display—I came in to buy a slice of pizza, and I left with a whole pizza! The gentleman (Isaac) did a great job of selling it to me, plus the dessert sold by the lady. While waiting for my pizza, an elderly person with a walking stick who had great difficulty walking was kindly offered to have their bread brought to their car, and that was truly wonderful! My pizza was served quickly and it was delicious. This is a fantastic team in Pepin, a real pleasure for us—thank you to them!

28/04/2026: A lovely tea room, perfect for relaxing. Very good cakes and tea! However, I recommend updating the menu, as the tea I wanted was no longer available, and offering more relaxed service. (The waiter was very friendly and helpful.)
