06/08/2026: This is the most authentic Northeastern Chinese restaurant in Paris. I was a tourist, and the owner treated me very well, even giving us complimentary side dishes. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had cold noodles! The braised pork slices were also delicious and authentic! I'll definitely come back next time.

06/08/2026: Pizzas ordered on the app for €35 for delivery. The delivery driver was very nice, however, the pizzas were frankly dry. I don't know if they used crème fraîche, and the crispy topping became hard when it cooled down; it seemed like it had been reheated. Frankly, it's expensive for what it is. I won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

25/08/2026: I came for my birthday, and they surprised me by putting a candle on my dessert. I really appreciated this lovely little gesture, especially since the whole restaurant started singing "Happy Birthday"! Thank you so much, the staff is fantastic and very friendly.

09/08/2026: A maximum of eight people. And that's no coincidence. The Experience The service never exceeds eight people, simply because there isn't more room. The atmosphere is intimate, bringing you closer to the sushi master, almost like a private lesson rather than a dinner. The Chef Each piece is crafted right before your eyes, with a precision and expertise that command respect. No wonder, given that the chef, Masayoshi Hanada, trained in Japan and then worked in the Emperor's kitchens in Tokyo before arriving in Paris. Every fish is exceptional, selected according to the day's catch. Here, there's no set menu; the master decides, a bit like a conductor composing a score based on the morning's inspiration. The Final Word You leave with eight different sushi, each one more incredible than the last. And being so few at the table gives a real sense of rarity, almost the feeling of having been invited rather than having made a reservation.

06/08/2026: Best Japanese restaurant I've tried in Paris. Friendly and conversational service, memorable sake, delicate flavors, and pure fish. I went with my father and we had the chance to chat with another friendly father/son duo!

23/08/2026: A week of hiking with full board at Le Temps Rêvé was pure bliss. Séverine is an exceptionally pleasant hostess, always available and attentive to everyone's needs. Jean-Luc prepared outstanding meals and excellent picnics. The rooms are very comfortable. There's nothing to criticize about this place; it truly deserves a stay.

Everything was perfect: the scenery (ah, the Vercors!), the accommodation, the food, and...Séverine's warm welcome, kindness, and exceptional service. Everything was perfect. Thank you, Séverine, for making this weekend such an enchanting interlude.

20/08/2026: We were lucky enough to get a table right by the windows, with a direct view of the viaduct. The setting is magnificent, the restaurant remarkable, and the quality impeccable in every respect: tasteful decor both inside and out, a warm welcome, and discreet yet efficient service. The meal (set menu at €56) was excellent.

19/08/2026: A very good place! The food is excellent, the service efficient, and the setting very pleasant. A minor drawback was the manager's welcome, which we found a bit cold, both when making the reservation and when paying the bill. A shame, because everything else was truly delightful!

10/08/2026: A very pleasant surprise. Only drawback: no option to change the side dish for the lamb stew as I am allergic to celery.

09/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic experience! A beachfront restaurant with a truly lovely setting and a great atmosphere. We ate very well; the food was delicious and the service was friendly. A perfect place to enjoy a great meal overlooking the sea. I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: This is the second time we've had lunch at L'Empire du 8e. It's a friendly place, and the food is always a treat. The prices are reasonable and consistent. A special shout-out to Madame Laetitia, the head waitress, who served us both times. A big thank you—we really appreciated the service. And let's not forget head chef Edouard and his assistant—the food was delicious. We'll be back when they reopen on September 9. Second time we've had lunch at L'Empire du 8e. 24/05/2026: A very good restaurant with very friendly and attentive service! The restaurant will be renovated soon. I didn't immediately notice the slightly dated "leopard print" carpet. But we were more impressed by the good food and the very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

29/08/2026: Would not recommend this place. There are loads of good bistro but this is not one of them. The photos of the burgers and coca cola should have been a warning for us but with the kids hungry this is where we ended up. Food was average nice snails and croque madame, the rest pretty bad. The cheese board you could have bought the same or better cheese from any supermarket, the beef bourginon hard and chewy and not remotely rich enough. The service was bad the waiters did not stop but they can obviously not cope with how busy the restaurant got. The kitchen was very slow and we waited over 30 min from starter to main and another 20 for the bill. Avoid!

25/08/2026: I was lured into this restaurant by a friendly waiter, who then kindly served us at our table, explained and demonstrated how to eat snails properly, and overall left a good impression. This is a great place for those new to Paris, as they have a good combo menu where you can try many Parisian specialties, such as onion soup, crème brûlée, and snails, all at a reasonable price. The food was good, as was the service. If I were staying in the city longer, I would definitely return.

07/08/2026: An excellent restaurant where we had a very pleasant time. The dishes were delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The cuisine is flavorful, generous, and showcases French specialties. The service was attentive and warm, in a friendly atmosphere. A truly wonderful place in Fontainebleau that I highly recommend.

25/08/2026: We loved our meal! The service was fantastic! The bread roll with butter brought to us before the meal was fabulous. The chicken with morels was delicious! The salted caramel soufflé was also a favorite.

06/08/2026: Best souffle I've ever eaten, fluffy and full of the rich flavour of comte. Gorgeous ambiance in a tucked away little corner of Paris. Comically rude service. So rude that it almost felt like a cliché version of what everyone thinks Parisian servers are like. I'm a Canadian former server and travel writer who spends a lot of time in Paris. I've not seen anything like it. Nearly spoiled my souffle and salad and glass of wine but I muscled through lol.
