17/05/2026: Lovely restaurant! We had lunch there as a couple and had a pleasant time. The starters were delicious: the Thai beef salad and the roasted Camembert. The bread was fresh and very good. The service was very pleasant and the place is really welcoming. We were only disappointed by the main course we ordered (the chuck roast): it clearly lacked flavor and was swimming in water, which was a shame. The restrooms weren't very clean.

14/05/2026: We had a lovely lunch break here. Cozy, relaxed, friendly, beautiful, and delicious! Highly recommended as a break to refuel before the climb to Sacre Coeur!

What made the experience worse was that I was also teased by the staff as I was leaving, which felt unprofessional and targeted. I genuinely hope this was not racially motivated, but the tone and behaviour left me feeling deeply uncomfortable. I would urge the management to look into how front‑of‑house staff treat customers arriving near closing time, and to ensure all guests are treated with basic respect and dignity, regardless of their background.

The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming; you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. The decor and ambiance are truly delightful. As for the food, everything is delicious: dishes prepared with care, and you can taste the passion in every plate. But what makes the experience even more special is the team. The staff is remarkably kind, always smiling, attentive, and caring. You're welcomed like a friend, and that makes all the difference. Thank you for these wonderful moments shared with you. 09/06/2026: I organized a group trip for 14 people, during which we stayed for three days at the Hôtel Restaurant Le Freudeneck. The service was excellent, the food exceptionally good, and the rooms, while not modern, were adequate and tidy. The dining room is cozy. We enjoyed the large terrace when the sun was shining. The location is perfect for tours in the Vosges Mountains. We enjoyed it so much that we plan to return next year.

The place has a wonderful charm: a reimagined old French canteen atmosphere, with mismatched furniture, a real soul, and a simple, almost rustic, yet incredibly welcoming feel. You immediately feel at ease. And then there's the incredible contrast with the food: refined, precise, creative, and truly impressive cuisine. Each dish was a delightful surprise. The service was equally remarkable: attentive, passionate, and highly professional without ever being stuffy. You can feel a genuine desire to do things well and to share. Very human. A superb experience from beginning to end.

12/05/2026: A very pleasant third stay at this family-run campsite, which is always very well maintained, quiet, and very shady. The mobile home was super comfortable and clean. The managers, Anne Sophie and Sylvain, are very welcoming and endearing people, always available and attentive! We come every time with our grandchildren, and it's always a great pleasure to return to this haven of peace to enjoy their company and recharge our batteries, visit or revisit the magnificent historical sites nearby, and explore the charming little village in the vicinity. We were also able to enjoy the lovely swimming pool and savor the delicious meals offered at the campsite restaurant, which were excellent value for money. Pure bliss! We'll definitely be back...
