26/10/2026: We had dinner at Le Parvis for our anniversary with my husband and everything was perfect, from the service to the food!! We will return with great pleasure and highly recommend that you do not hesitate to go there.

The service was a little too fast, both in terms of greeting and speaking pace; it was difficult to understand everything being said. The same applied to the wines. The prices were strange if you ordered à la carte. Otherwise, the staff was professional. The decor was outdated. The price-quality ratio was disproportionate compared to other establishments of the same or even higher category that we've visited in Alsace, Paris, and on the French Riviera. My personal rating: 3.9/5.

The ingredients are fresh, the dishes are delicious and generous, and we enjoy ourselves every time. The welcome is very pleasant and the service is quick and efficient. A great place that I recommend without hesitation!

16/09/2026: Excellent value for money (less than €20 per person for a starter, main course, and dessert). The portions are generous, the homemade fries are excellent, and the service is quick. Since the menu changes daily, you won't get tired of it if you come regularly. The staff are friendly. It's ideal for lunch with colleagues, but also perfect for families: they can adjust the portions of the daily special for children, which is a real plus.

07/10/2026: I've been coming to this restaurant for about four years now, and I've never been disappointed once. Occasionally the service has been a bit slow or there's been a change of server, but given the circumstances, it's not always easy for them. As for the food, it's always been a 10/10. Whenever someone tells me they're going to eat in Valence, this is the restaurant I book, whether it's with friends or for a more intimate meal. Don't hesitate any longer!

20/09/2026: A very good culinary experience. My son and I ate at this restaurant on September 19th at lunchtime. Unfortunately, the daily special was already sold out, but fortunately, the dishes we chose were excellent and beautifully presented. The dessert was also excellent. One drawback, I don't know why, but the waitress didn't seem to like us very much. It took a long time to take our order, and afterwards, the interaction was very limited. She didn't ask if we enjoyed our meal or if we liked it. She offered us coffees even though we hadn't had dessert yet. She brought us dessert but no cutlery (which is a bit much for ice cream), while she was particularly friendly with the other customers (including a group of elderly people who were quite noisy, but oh well). Even when it came time to pay the bill, not even a "everything was fine." Unbelievable. It's a shame because the meal was truly excellent.

22/09/2026: We remember that evening at Au Trotthus with a certain affection—and at the same time with that quiet reserve that arises when an experience, while harmonious, wasn't entirely convincing. Days before, we had discovered the restaurant on a side street, almost hidden away, nearly at the end of the small alley. It was precisely this unassuming nature that immediately appealed to us, and we made a reservation without hesitation. On September 14, 2026, we received an exceptionally warm welcome and were allowed to choose the most beautiful table from the available ones. It had caught our eye the first time we walked by: right at the back, where the building's most massive beams radiate their centuries-old tranquility. A place with character, warm and inviting. The drinks arrived promptly, and we had ample time to put together our dinner. The restaurant serves traditional cuisine, so we opted for a true Alsatian evening. Maultaschen de Pois, Salade de Choucroute, and – a first for both of us – Parmentier d’effiloché de Bœuf d’Alsace. The crème brûlée for dessert was only manageable for my wife; my starter was practically a main course, and together with the main course, it was simply too much. The plates were attractively presented, the food solid, but generally rather under-seasoned, and overall too bland. The ambiance, on the other hand, was pleasant, the restaurant charming, and we felt comfortable. Ultimately, however, the lavish meal remained a rather harmless, somewhat bland experience – friendly, comfortable, but lacking that little spark that makes an evening truly unforgettable.
