24/08/2026: A truly disappointing experience. The waitress was sorely lacking in enthusiasm and motivation. Drinks arrived after the appetizers, and only the bottles were served (no glasses with ice). The dishes lacked flavor; we were served like in a school cafeteria. While the prices are certainly reasonable and affordable, does that justify compromising the quality of your food? This is a "budget" restaurant, and for some, it allows families to enjoy this type of outing at a reasonable price. It's perfectly possible to offer good, flavorful dishes while still respecting your customers. An effort has been made to revamp the menu and update the decor of your restaurants. However, we haven't seen any improvement compared to before. As customers, we feel that Buffalo Grill is slowly fading away.

05/09/2026: The change in staff was very disappointing. The quality is no longer the same as before: the pasta was too hard, the salads very acidic, and there was an artificial taste. We were extremely thirsty for the rest of the day, a sign of excess salt or sodium. It's a shame; we won't be back.

22/08/2026: A recommended restaurant. Now I know why. A wonderful Parisian atmosphere, right on the Seine, with a view of the Eiffel Tower and close proximity to the tower. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I tried the snails, and they were amazing. My wife says they're not her cup of tea. We had steak and fish and chips. We had some drinks and coffee. Our anniversary dinner was fantastic. We recommend this place.

11/08/2026: Passing between Megève and Geneva, and Sallanches, we visited this small restaurant in Sallanches twice; it's run by a young couple. A must-visit for fondue, pierrade de boeuf, or raclette.

14/08/2026: La Sole Dorée on a little back street near the Hotel Mercure Centre, where I was staying, is a wonderful hidden gem. I was charmed by the atmosphere & service, & absolutely blown away by the food! My first meal there was lunch where I had the eponymous sole which the waitress beautifully prepared for me at the table. At first, that was an "amuse bouche" of the best gazpacho. I've had all summer. Also, a wonderful fish dip served with little toasts. When I went for dinner, the starter was grilled watermelon (on the menu, a play on words, "pas steak"), quite delicious, surprising, and refreshing. After that, a wonderful turbot with foie gras sauce(!) It was sublime. I actually had dessert. Twice (lunch & dinner.) Little "trompe l'œil" mushrooms (or cèpes) made out of two scoops of ice cream with meringue "caps", and chocolate sauce. And, after the dinner, baba au rhum, with the bottle placed on the table, just in case. Most highly recommended.

20/08/2026: We really liked the place. Especially the service; we were served by the waitress Manon, who was lovely and spoke Spanish.

20/08/2026: We came for a romantic raclette with our dog and received a wonderful welcome… pets are welcome, which was a huge plus for us… we ate upstairs and it was great, thank you so much! We highly recommend this restaurant. See you soon!

27/08/2026: Excellent cuisine, everything is homemade from appetizers to dessert, and the staff is incredibly attentive. A very pleasant place where you're guaranteed a good time.

23/08/2026: A pleasant evening in a beautifully decorated setting. A personalized and very professional welcome. The dishes were prepared with quality ingredients. The chef mastered cooking times, and each plate was beautifully presented. The service was quick and attentive. There's a space where you can stroll around the lake, with areas to sit. It's best to make a reservation. There are no vegetarian options. And a set menu is available at the bottom of the menu on certain days. Otherwise, everything is à la carte. The prices are a bit high.

02/08/2026: Simple food cooked to perfection. We came on two of our nights we were in Paris we loved it that much. The service was great. Highly recommended.

02/08/2026: The truffle burrata is excellent, the pasta carbonara is wonderfully creamy! The staff is welcoming and the location is perfect, with its quiet, intimate terrace.

08/08/2026: The Japanese-inspired tapas are really good and mostly original. I'm not a big fan of the sharing platters, considering the quantity/price ratio... On the other hand, the music was too loud and it was a bit too hot in the restaurant (especially in the restrooms), but oh well, that's to be expected this time of year!
