Having tried all the restaurants in Josselin, La Sarrazine remains my favorite!

26/04/2026: We had a great dinner here! We've ordered two entrances and two main plates. Everything was delicious!
The highlight was the chocolate mousse. It was incredible!
The service was also amazing.
09/03/2026: Finally, as soon as you open the door, you can smell the real cooking, and frankly, it's a delight.
The dishes are delicious.
I treated myself to some bone marrow.
As well as perfectly cooked calf's liver with a reduced jus, green lentils, and homemade mashed potatoes.
The quality/price ratio is very, very good at €30.
I'll have to come back to see you and try everything on your menu.

23/03/2026: My wife and I spent four months in Nice and we made Le Bistro de Gillou a regular in our rotation. There was always good variety to the menu on the board and the food was delicious. It’s a family run restaurant. The chef produced quality dishes every time that didn’t disappoint. The wife/server is friendly and was so patient with our struggling French.

25/04/2026: Not many people around this Saturday lunchtime, very pleasant background music and very welcoming staff. The carbonara pasta was very good, as were the mussels with Maroilles cheese.

Despite a full staff, the atmosphere is frustratingly over-excited
And there's a long wait
The parking lot is deplorable, full of potholes and patched up
They need to improve!
Stop putting your fingers in the cups when you're serving!

09/04/2026: Every time I'm in Quimper I eagerly look forward to having a wonderfull steak at Le Saint Mathieu. At the butcher's counter in the restaurant they are happy to help you make the perfect choice, the servers are friendly and helpful, true professionals. This is the one place where I am always certain that they get the cook of the steak just right.
