21/04/2026: We wanted to have dinner quite early, but we hadn't made a reservation. The restaurant accommodated us anyway. The food, consisting of typical regional dishes, was very good and the portions were generous. The waitress was very friendly despite the stress of the service (the restaurant was full and she was the only one managing the service – kudos to her for not panicking and staying cheerful). Since it was full, it was rather noisy. But the atmosphere was pleasant. A restaurant I would definitely recommend.

The ingredients were top-quality, everything was homemade, and everything was delicious: vegetables, fish, and a special mention for the shortbread base of the strawberry tart – we'll definitely remember it. 28/04/2026: I'm going to tell you about my totally surreal experience at a restaurant in Marseille. I'd spotted the place with one thing in mind: to enjoy some gorgeous plates of strawberries and whipped cream. We arrived, ready to order… four desserts and coffees. Nothing out of the ordinary, at the end of service, you know. And then… a surreal scene. The waiter—or rather, the one I assume was the owner—looked at us and told us, very seriously, that it wasn't possible to come "just for desserts" because, and I quote, "this is a restaurant." At the time, I honestly thought it was a joke. But no. According to him, if we wanted strawberries, we had to take a punnet… and go eat them somewhere else. Yes, really. Literally. Since when can't you sit down at the end of service and have four desserts and four drinks? Has that become some kind of revolutionary concept? The worst part: he brushed us off without a second thought, as if we were asking for something absurd. Honestly, between the nonexistent welcome and the completely illogical approach, you have to wonder if the goal is to drive customers away. I'm still shocked. And above all… stunned by such a level of ridiculousness.

The menu is very good. There's an all-you-can-eat appetizer buffet with very fresh crudités and charcuterie, as well as desserts. Today's dish of the day (pork tenderloin) was excellent. There are three dining rooms and a small outdoor terrace. The service is quick and friendly.

Furthermore, the service was incredibly slow; we had to wait over 30 minutes, and the restaurant was only half full at the time. In short, everything was mediocre.

04/04/2026: My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable. I decided to go with my partner for a special occasion—their last night in Paris—hoping for a pleasant evening, but it turned out to be anything but. First of all, the wait was excessive. It took them ages to bring our dishes without offering any explanation or apology for the delay. When I finally received my food, the situation worsened considerably: my dish contained an insect, which is completely unacceptable by any standard of hygiene and food safety. Furthermore, the service was unfriendly and inattentive throughout the entire experience. At no point did they show any empathy or intention to resolve the situation. They also didn't offer basic accompaniments that one would expect in this type of restaurant, such as sweet sauces or eel sauce for the rice, which was surprising. To make matters worse, when we asked for the bill, they made us wait again, and we finally had to get up to pay directly at the counter. Despite reporting the issue with my dish, I was charged in full, without any consideration, formal apology, or courtesy for the unpleasant experience. I left the restaurant deeply frustrated and saddened. It's regrettable that an establishment would fail not only in basic aspects like food quality and hygiene, but also in something as essential as customer service. I definitely do not recommend it.

17/04/2026: A real gem in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. We often walk past it without really knowing what lies behind… and what a delightful surprise! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth. In the kitchen, delicious homemade dishes awaited us: baby vegetables with goat's cream, flavorful buckwheat crêpes… a true delight. The small garden is a haven of peace, a ray of sunshine seemingly untouched by time. You can feel the vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, run by wonderful people. Even the other customers seem to smile at you. The prices are very reasonable, and the bill remains light for such a pleasant and convivial experience. A precious place to discover in Saint-Maur. We can already picture ourselves in winter, by the fireplace glimpsed in the dining room…

15/04/2026: Absolutely delicious crepes beautifully presented in wonderful surroundings. Nicely decorated - guitar, chess board, paintings, quirky objects here and there. We sat in a lovely sunny courtyard at the back. But above all it's about the food. We had both gallette and crepes and both were amazing! We will be back!
