The pizza wasn't cooked through, and the ingredients were poor quality. The cheese literally seeped through the pizza and collapsed underneath.
It was as bad as it was ugly.
I wouldn't even take it for free.
We threw away three pizzas.
The quality has gone downhill. I no longer recommend it.

14/04/2026: Perhaps we were just unlucky, but it was the worst restaurant we've ever been to in France! The appetizers (onion tart) were completely burnt on the bottom. The topping itself, however, was delicious. The meat for the main course was ordered cooked to perfection and was also burnt (bitter!) and incredibly tough. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal or why we left almost everything on our plates… The desserts (two kinds of tart) were so stale that you could only cut the crust with a knife and fork.
But: The included wine was delicious :-)

From the main courses to the dessert, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
The quality, texture, and taste of the ingredients were exceptional.
A big thank you to the waiter who took such good care of his customers.
It was my mother's birthday, and without us even asking, he brought the dessert we ordered, complete with a candle. A wonderful place and a great find.

13/04/2026: We ate on the terrace during the traditional abrivado. The children were thrilled to watch the spectacle. We also enjoyed a brass band adding to the lively atmosphere. You can feel that it's a real community hub. The price is reasonable. The service is welcoming.

02/05/2026: Clearly, the ratings are meaningless now; all restaurants are paying for fake reviews.
We ordered two sandwiches, a crispy one and a con artist's sandwich. The chicken was absolutely disgusting. Not only was it tasteless (it tasted like it was full of water), but it was also riddled with cartilage; it was simply revolting. It was clearly the cheapest meat; they buy as little as possible, and to hell with the quality of the ingredients.
Beyond that, mine was supposed to be "spicy." Either they forgot the spices, or they don't know what that means, but what's certain is that the chicken wasn't even seasoned. It's like they cook it and then put it directly in the sandwich without adding a single spice. As for the "crispy" one, it wasn't crispy at all. The breading isn't crispy; it's completely soggy, resulting in a pasty texture.
In short, avoid this place. We came because the prices were reasonable, but clearly, that was at the expense of quality.

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.
25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

09/04/2026: An absolutely incredible experience at La Gloria restaurant in Ludres! From the moment you step inside, you're charmed by the elegant and welcoming decor, which creates an atmosphere that's both cozy and refined. The place isn't noisy, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends.
The service is impeccable, with very friendly and attentive staff. A big thank you to our server, Bastien, for his warm welcome and helpful advice throughout the meal!
As for the food, it's a real treat. I savored the beef pear, a tender and perfectly cooked dish, my partner enjoyed an exceptional pizza, and our children loved their pasta, simple yet delicious. Everything was fresh, generous, and prepared with care.
A perfect place for a successful dinner, combining excellent cuisine, a pleasant atmosphere, and top-notch service. We will definitely be back!

Furthermore, the service was a bit slow, but it remains an experience worth having and one that we didn't regret.

28/02/2026: Nice crepes but inacceptable attitude from the owner/operator who believes he's entitled to blandly tell his customers after 20 minutes "you have to be out in five minutes" litterally. The guy is actively working on building wrongly a reputation on frenchies to be arrogant. Fortunately for him we know respect and politeness and did not overthrow tables. "Mon gars, va apprendre la politesse" (sic)

The crepes are absolutely delicious; you can go there without hesitation!
