20/05/2026: Impeccable service, however, the food was bland. The sea bass was well-served but slightly overcooked, accompanied by a saffron risotto that wasn't actually saffron—it was rice pasta—and a vegetable wok with no seasoning whatsoever, no spices, no salt, no pepper. The mussels marinière were too salty, and the broth was watery. A question about the daily special: mussels marinière or curry? Is it a two-day special? The menu was the same on Monday and Tuesday. 🤔 The lack of ambiance and character in the decor discourages lingering after the meal.

12/07/2026: A place that's not very touristy, but still has a hint of Corsica. Lumio isn't very touristy, and that helps. The view is breathtaking! The charcuterie board was very good, and the Vermentinu was also good. The waiters were all friendly. What can I say? If you're looking for an authentic place, this is it! Recommended even just for an aperitif!

12/07/2026: It's rare these days to be able to have truly authentic experiences. Here, in a small village overlooking Lumio and the sea, you'll find the only restaurant, with a breathtaking view. You feel and know you're being welcomed by locals (special mention to the kindness of Denise, the second generation to run the restaurant). And if you go on a Saturday night, you'll enjoy spit-roasted veal and festive dancing thanks to live music. A gem for our last night on this magical island. ✨ *Remember to book

02/07/2026: Had a lovely lunch with friends. I had scampi and the rest of us had cod and chips, salad, mushy peas and curry sauce. Thick pieces of fish with lovely crispy batter. They even do gluten free batter. Even the salad dressing comes out in its own little pot. Would fully recommend and would come back again.

10/07/2025: Recommended by locals, this spot offers a generous seafood platter with a lot of food for a reasonable price. It's located right above the sea, in what used to be a ferry terminal, which makes the walk there feel a bit odd or industrial—but don’t let that stop you. Once inside, the atmosphere is truly charming and inviting, with a relaxed maritime vibe. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and tasty, even if it might not be the absolute best in Saint-Malo. Still, a great experience overall, especially for seafood lovers!

07/06/2026: The inn was fantastic. The food was excellent, no complaints whatsoever. Unfortunately, we had a terrible waitress; it was a disaster. Our clothes were stained with wine, a slice of dessert was spilled on one of us, and she had a very rude, suburban manner. It's a shame, otherwise it would have been a 5-star experience.

16/12/2025: A peaceful farmhouse, terrace overlooking the Bugarach mountain. The farmyard animals frolic in the grass, putting on a show. The set menu is €29, and we choose from several courses. A buffet of well-prepared charcuterie and crudités. House dish (boles de picoulat). Dessert (profiteroles). Aperitif with Maury wine, followed by a meal with white wine. Three hours of dining and relaxation. It's a bit warm on the terrace; the curtains aren't up yet for the season. The chef makes a special effort with the presentation, adding small decorative touches and flavor combinations that are worth noting. You can sense his organization in his desire to serve all the guests in roughly the same order. Main courses for everyone, then desserts for everyone. There are only two of them, so they need to be methodical. The furniture and layout could use a touch of modernization (budget constraints, of course), but it's lush and full of flowers. We had a wonderful time during our two-wheeled tour of Bugarach and Rennes-le-Château. Limiting seating to around 20 people to prioritize quality over quantity, reservations are recommended. For groups, the farm indicated they can accommodate larger groups with prior booking, similar to classic car club outings. Parking is available on the property. I will definitely return. Thank you to this young couple.

12/11/2025: Excellent. We had lunch as a group and thoroughly enjoyed it. The €29 set menu is truly delicious and generous. The starter buffet, cassoulet, and profiteroles were all very plentiful and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The dining room is lovely, and the terrace is also very pleasant. They don't accept cards.
