09/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely recommended! We had a wonderful lunch here! A beautiful location, lovely surroundings, and above all, a restaurant where you can tell that the work is done with tremendous attention, craftsmanship, and love. This restaurant employs people who each have their own challenges, but let one thing be clear above all: quality and hospitality come first here. Compliments also to the supervisors. You can tell that the guys are given the space and trust to practice their craft. And they do it fantastically. The young man who served us truly deserves a big compliment. Good explanation, the wine was opened properly, and he kept a constant eye on our table. Your glass is barely empty before he has already noticed it and refills it neatly. Genuine attention and hospitality as it should be. We chose the daily menu for €24, and it was truly fantastic. As a starter, we were served a classic French dish with egg, a light foam, goat cheese, and a beautiful salad. Wonderfully balanced. Next, a beautifully cooked piece of pork tenderloin with a raisin jus, a lovely potato mousse, and braised leeks. Sweet, savory, and beautifully combined. The dessert was a kind of rice pudding with coconut and pineapple, but in terms of taste and texture, you could almost say you were eating crème brûlée. Very tasty and, once again, beautifully balanced. I personally chose the cheese board: fantastic cheeses, wonderful flavors, and a homemade mango chutney to go with it. Here too, we received a good explanation. You can taste and see that a lot is made in-house here and that attention is paid to what ends up on the plate. Craftsmanship, hospitality, and good guidance come together beautifully here. Compliments to everyone who works here and for the way these guys are given the chance to show what they can do. Eating a lunch like this for €24 at such a beautiful place is special. Fantastic concept, fantastic food, and absolutely worth the detour. We would love to come back! 🇫🇷❤️🍷🍴

23/08/2026: I booked a table at this restaurant for dinner after seeing very positive reviews, and I was very disappointed. I wasn't expecting haute cuisine, but at least generous portions and, above all, good quality. My friend ordered a ribeye steak (22 euros, no less!!) and asked for it medium-rare. He got very, very well-done, poor-quality meat that was as thin as cigarette paper. Not good at all. I had pasta (17 euros!!). For that price, you'd expect a flavorful sauce, but no, just a few large pieces of unpeeled tomatoes, almost no garlic or basil, no olive oil whatsoever, and mediocre mozzarella. No grated cheese available... Oh, I almost forgot, we ordered a pitcher of punch for an aperitif, and I think they forgot to put the rum in. In short, a place to avoid, especially since the owner is quite present, but not in a good way. For the sake of folklore, perhaps some will appreciate it….

Sometimes we also get takeout, which is very convenient too. The atmosphere is very friendly, and we receive a very warm welcome from the owners, who work together as a couple. 😍

16/08/2026: We came in May and found this restaurant excellent; we loved it so much that we returned on August 14th. And what a disappointment! The service was deplorable. We ordered a bottle of white wine for an aperitif, and when we received our starter, there was still no aperitif. We had to ask throughout the entire meal for bread and two glasses of rosé, which we never received. We were told the side dish was mashed potatoes, but it arrived with fries. The meat was sent back, undercooked. The meal was very mediocre, and we weren't even offered the €38 set menu. A huge disappointment. We had said this would be our go-to restaurant for our festivals, but we won't be returning. It's a shame; we were really looking forward to going back.

30/08/2026: As regulars at this restaurant, we were surprised and astonished to find that the plates were smaller, and the portions were smaller too. It's a shame the prices haven't reflected this reduction.

30/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! 🇲🇦 I found this restaurant thanks to a friend, and I have absolutely no regrets. The couscous was simply excellent 👍, bursting with flavor, and the staff were truly pleasant and welcoming. The decor is modern and stylish, a refreshing change from traditional establishments and a real touch of originality. My only slight criticism is that the lighting is a bit too bright. A more subdued and cozy atmosphere would make the experience even more perfect. But it's still a fantastic place! If you're ever in Rambouillet, don't hesitate to stop by: a guaranteed change of scenery and a wonderful introduction to Moroccan cuisine.

Every time I arrive in this charming town for work, I absolutely have to stop by Fernand's for a meal. Honestly, the service is impeccable and always with a smile, which is so rare in restaurants these days that it's really worth mentioning! You immediately feel welcome; it's a real pleasure. And let's talk about the food: the dishes are authentic and homemade, a true delight for the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend these delicious dishes; they're so good you practically eat them with your mouth open! It's truly the perfect place for a gourmet break when you're in the area. If you ever find yourself in Gaillac, don't hesitate to make a detour to Fernand's. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

14/08/2026: Exquisite cuisine, our best meal in the Loire Valley. The octopus carpaccio was perfectly delicate, as it should be, with a very interesting presentation. The guinea fowl ballotine was truly juicy and flavorful, while my husband's pork confit was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was efficient and attentive. The only slight drawback was the lack of air conditioning on a sweltering day with mosquitoes, which made the atmosphere a little oppressive. Even investing in a small fan would have been beneficial. Otherwise, I highly recommend this restaurant!

15/08/2026: PERFECT!!! We came to buy a chicken and ended up ordering quite a few sides: roasted baby vegetables, creamed spinach, and new potatoes. Everything was delicious. Plus, the staff is super friendly and efficient. A big thumbs up!!!
