23/10/2026: Excellent Lunch Menu We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. The friendly service and the superb cuisine deserve special mention. The salmon with fennel and the sliced ​​beef, both with delicious sauces, were divine. We will gladly return!

20/10/2026: 4/5 stars — One star deducted because of the manager’s attitude. A special thank you to the lovely young waiter from Seville, who turned what could have been a thoroughly disappointing evening into a memorable one. He was genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming. Thanks to him, I stayed and finally enjoyed the baked escargots I had been looking forward to. And what a lovely surprise at the end: when I paid the bill, he told me he was from Seville, Spain! We exchanged greetings in Spanish and wished each other well. ¡Maravilloso! He truly deserves praise for his kindness and professionalism. Unfortunately, my evening got off to a very unpleasant start. I had come specifically to try the escargots. It was a Tuesday evening just after the rain, and there were plenty of empty tables. I had patiently waited at the entrance and been shown to my table by a member of staff. Yet a man in a dark suit and glasses, who appeared to be the manager, seemed to assume that I had seated myself without permission. He approached me with a frown and angrily demanded to know whether I had simply decided to sit down on my own. His attitude was upsetting and completely unnecessary. I had followed the restaurant’s seating procedure, so being treated as though I had done something wrong was particularly frustrating. Even after asking for the menu, I seriously considered leaving without eating. Thankfully, the young waiter’s kindness changed my mind, and I’m glad I stayed. The escargots were exactly what I had come for, and the friendly exchange at the end made the experience much better. Four stars out of five: the young waiter earned my appreciation, but the manager’s attitude cost the restaurant one star.

11/10/2026: Arriving without a reservation on a Saturday evening, and despite the restaurant being full, we were found a table in a very comfortable, intimate corner 🙏. The beef and duck tiger was excellent. The music was just right for a peaceful conversation. A warm welcome, a charming setting, and very reasonable prices. A wonderful evening. We'll definitely be back!

30/08/2026: We had a very pleasant stay at Le Prieuré. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant: a special mention for the rib-eye steaks cooked over an open fire—absolutely delicious! But everything else was excellent, from the appetizers to the main courses… and above all, don't miss the desserts, they are incredible! The owners are charming, welcoming, and very attentive. And to top it all off, a perfect breakfast! A truly wonderful place that we highly recommend and where we will gladly return.

24/08/2026: We just celebrated a birthday with family and friends at Le Prieuré; A perfectly successful weekend! The managers and all the staff are fantastic: friendly, helpful, and the food was perfect, with a fire pit and spit-roasted ham. The grounds are vast and offer plenty of activities. We highly recommend this establishment.

10/10/2026: We came for lunch today, a group of four. We had an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and a digestif—everything was impeccable from start to finish. The setting is unique and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The waitress, the owners, and the cooks were all fantastic. We highly recommend it. This was our third time; we can't wait for our fourth! 💪

20/09/2026: This place is superb, a fantastic team, the portions are always generous, and the quality is consistently excellent. We were able to celebrate a surprise birthday there, and the incredible team did everything perfectly. The decorations were beautiful, the cake delicious, and the couscous was amazing. We had a wonderful evening thanks to the team. Don't change a thing, you are truly wonderful people. There's never a problem with them; they always find solutions. My partner is vegetarian, and no problem at all, sir, they took care of it. They even prepared a superb fish dish for us. Hats off to you all! 😘😘

02/09/2026: A fantastic experience today! We ate very well and the service was excellent. A big thank you to Sissou for her warm welcome, kindness, and attentiveness. I highly recommend the Thai salad—fresh, generous, and full of flavor. We also tried the charcuterie and cheese board, which was very generous and high-quality. A truly great place that I wholeheartedly recommend!

06/09/2026: We had a meal there while visiting the village of Lavaudieu. The portions were generous and hearty. The salad comes from the garden, the cured ham is the real deal, the meat is fantastic, and the Bleu d'Auvergne sauce is absolutely divine! The desserts are homemade, and the potatoes dipped in sauces are a real treat! The welcome was warm and friendly. Kudos to the manager who handles both the service and the cooking brilliantly! Go for it without hesitation!
