03/11/2026: After a hike along the old royal road to the French border and back, and after passing through the charming village of Moncenisio, Polenteria La Ramasse is the ideal place to enjoy a lunch worthy of the unique beauty of this valley. The small restaurant welcomes you with a roaring fireplace and traditional wooden furnishings. The owner presents the dishes and wines with a rare passion in the restaurant world, immediately putting you at ease and helping you choose the perfect wine for your palate and preferences. Truly excellent. The "speak" with flavored sauce is a must-try appetizer; it's a fantastic way to prepare for the main course that comes next: the restaurant's unique polenta, served in the most classic ways. The desserts and digestifs are worthy of everything else. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back. Excellent, truly excellent!

01/11/2026: Enchanting location, attention to detail, attentive service and a truly friendly restaurateur, we ate well, we enjoyed some nice spicy unscheduled dishes and we spent the right amount... I hope to return.

10/09/2026: The steak tartare was excellent. The Landes salad was both high-quality and generous (rich in gizzards, foie gras, and potatoes – unlike some restaurants where you only get salad). The gourmet coffee was delicious. Very good value for money. Worth discovering.

27/08/2026: We stumbled upon it, and it seems they're doing things right. The bouchon was a hit with everyone; the slight wait at the table was more than compensated for by the exceptional quality of the food. Excellent establishment, very good cuisine, superb service... As occasional visitors to Toulon, our only regret is that the bouchon isn't closer to home.

01/08/2026: After more than 30 years in the area, finally a truly wonderful discovery. It's tucked away in the Auchan Ollioules shopping center... A small menu, but brimming with exquisite flavors... everything is delicious, and the wine selection is superb. A must for locals and tourists alike. Impeccable service and a warm welcome, along with excellent advice throughout the entire gourmet meal. Fantastic.

27/08/2026: A little more courtesy and respect when setting the table and asking a specific customer—inevitably the least familiar and more timid (to put it mildly)—to leave if they're not having lunch would be appreciated (in front of other customers). (Incidentally, customers should be warned before they pay and sit down if they need to leave quickly due to lack of space.) Nice place, though, full of good intentions judging by the stickers plastered everywhere, lol. PS: On what basis do you ask some customers to pay for their coffee before or after they've finished? ^^

18/08/2026: My current favorite spot! Whether it's for an espresso or to extend the session with a few drinks, the vibes are amazing. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. And the menu looks so tempting: I can't wait to come back and try everything!

25/09/2026: I stumbled upon this place by chance, as everyone else was closed. The welcome was fantastic; you immediately feel at ease. As for the food, honestly, it's been a long time since I've had such delicious fish. Often in restaurants, when you order fish, the portions aren't very generous, but here, the side dishes were superb as well. The dessert was simple and satisfying, featuring the exotic fruits from the lunchtime set menu. I had a wonderful time. Thank you and congratulations to the whole team!

18/05/2026: The hotel is very well located. The spa in the basement is lovely, with a pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the television and refrigerator were broken and not repaired during our three-day stay.

13/05/2026: First and foremost, I want to thank Julien, whose personality makes this place so unique. I remember the place as being in PERFECT condition and spotlessly clean. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches that made all the difference: fresh orange and lemonade. The spa was magnificent, and the masseuse was lovely and very attentive to the client's needs, personalizing each massage accordingly. I also appreciated the charming Spanish housekeeper who took such good care of the guests. And I remember the very generous and high-quality breakfast. Thank you to the entire team. It was a very special weekend for us, and you all contributed to making it perfect.

We appreciate: the good French cuisine, sometimes with a modern twist, the real pieces of kiwi in the cocktails, and the warm bread with butter during the meal! Side question: where have all the colorful party snacks gone?

21/09/2026: We ended our holiday in Pirou with a wonderful evening at Restaurant de la Mer. It began with a breathtaking view directly onto the beach and the sunset, followed by very attentive and friendly service and a truly exceptional dinner. We had monkfish with delicate vegetables and beef tournedos with fantastic side dishes, cooked to perfection. The appetizer and desserts were also superb. The evening was simply magnificent, and we will definitely eat at Restaurant de la Mer again on our next holiday and are already looking forward to it.
