02/05/2026: The food was good, but the service was atrocious (our aperitifs were barely served before our main courses arrived), and we were rushed out as soon as we got up to seat the next guests... Not cool, especially two days before closing time, and they didn't even offer us a small glass of genepi! This was my first and last visit to your establishment.

01/05/2026: Excellent service from Thomas and Pierre. Our group of 6 came twice in a row and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in every way.

The setting is ideal, the service is always excellent even when it's busy, and the food is simply outstanding. 12/08/2026: A very warm welcome, excellent vegan spring roll with its sweet sesame oil sauce, the main course was excellent, and the Tama sushi dessert was a pure delight. If you're adventurous and eager to discover new flavors, you'll be well served. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Impeccable service and a pleasant chat with the waiter in a beautifully decorated dining room. A nice bonus is that some dishes are already vegetarian or can be adapted for vegetarians. The portions are generous, and the price is extremely reasonable. We received a warm welcome and excellent service; a special mention goes to Marine, who was incredibly kind. It's worth noting that the fouées are unlimited.

23/09/2026: I had a pleasant time at this restaurant. The food was good and I enjoyed the experience overall. The only slight drawback was the somewhat limited menu. A bit more variety would be appreciated. Despite this, I recommend the restaurant and would gladly return.

17/09/2026: Passing through Douai, my mother's birthplace, the restaurant was absolutely top-notch, both the welcome and the food. The carbonnade was truly amazing, especially with the fries. The desserts were also fantastic.

20/10/2026: Once again, the "Truffle Focaccia," followed by the pasta del bosco, which I highly recommend you try... and the wine (a find by the owner) that goes perfectly with it. Another moment of pure bliss, something we so desperately need right now.

31/08/2026: Food was so good, each dish’s portion was more than one person! The owners, were so patient even we did not speak french, told us slowly how to enjoy the food! They’re so lovely. The food may take longer (as its prepared by the couple) but it’s so worth it. The donners were 7~9 euros, and the pastas are in the low 10’s, which is affordable :)

09/10/2026: We arrived as a group of 11 for lunch on a Friday and received a warm welcome with service that was both efficient and friendly. The presentation of the dishes and the quality of the food exceeded our expectations for a set lunch menu. Excellent value for money.

25/09/2026: We've been coming to Fayence every year for the past 15 years to recharge our batteries in September. We regularly eat at the Auberge du Château, often on Tuesday lunchtimes after the small Fayence market, where we love to stroll. The service is impeccable. The welcome is warm and friendly. The shaded terrace under the beautiful plane tree remains bright and cheerful with its little orange placemats. And the very affordable menus are refined and delicate. Beautifully presented. Delicious! Whether it's the Provençal Daube or the beef fillet! The sea bass fillet with a very light aioli is served on the side, just like at the best restaurants in its category! And the desserts! The profiteroles...to die for! This bistronomic gem is truly worth the detour! It easily deserves 5 stars in every respect!! Bravo to the whole team! A little shout-out to Anthony (who, like us, comes from the north)! Don't hesitate...go there! We'll be back very soon! And before we leave! Isabelle and Noel Romon
