04/08/2026: A huge thank you for the warm welcome today. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful menu. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and truly friendly staff. The restaurant was closed for lunch, but they didn't hesitate to open and reserve the entire upstairs for us. I highly recommend it!

25/04/2026: It's difficult to rate the food since I had steak tartare... The pavlova drizzled with juniper liqueur from Cambrai is an excellent idea. The garden is a lovely place to relax during your meal. Worth remembering. ______________________________________ I remembered and I came back! It's always so pleasant to have lunch in the garden... The welcome and service were excellent, with a young, attentive, courteous, and smiling waiter. This time I tried a cooked dish (pork tenderloin), which I thoroughly enjoyed, and finished with the lemon tart. Thank you to the Bistronome team! I promise, I'll gladly come back.

11/04/2026: The food is excellent, and for our meal we had a modern take on Welsh rarebit and fish with yuzu sauce – a real treat! The service was impeccable. I highly recommend it.

04/07/2026: Talented chef. One of the better places in Paris I’ve eaten in. Everything was excellently prepared, well balanced flavours and superb ingredient combinations. Not pretentious. The people working there are proud of their restaurant, and the menu. Always a good sign. Glass of wine is generously poured.

I was particularly captivated by the small tarts served as amuse-bouches, whose delicate flavors and subtle textures perfectly set the stage for the meal. The presentation is impeccable, the service attentive, and the atmosphere delightful. A must-visit for lovers of fine cuisine.

23/08/2026: An intimate, relaxed wonderful find in a backstreet operated by a charming couple, he in the kitchen, she out front. The menu is not extensive which is encouraging and each dish not only sounds mouth-watering but is prepared to the highest standard, with love and the culinary understanding only a passionate cook will deliver (and virtually everything comes with a delicate decoration of tiny edible flowers - the chef's trademark!) Service is single handed but is attentive, very friendly and efficient even when the place began to fill up. Booking is essential as we saw disappointed would-be diners turned away. Worthy of many more than just the 5 stars!

06/06/2026: An absolutely magical experience! We participated in the glasses case making workshop at the end of the day, and it was exceptional. As we were a group of five, the shop was reserved just for us (note that it's also possible to be paired with other participants depending on the needs, which must be just as fun!). From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome. We then enjoyed the workshop, which was full of humor and the sharing of genuine expertise. We had so much fun! We booked this activity to celebrate a birthday, but it's also the perfect idea for a girls' night out or any other special occasion. You leave with a unique glasses case and a head full of memories. I highly recommend Paramaz Leather Goods! An absolutely magical experience! We participated in the glasses case making workshop after hours, and it was outstanding. Since there were 5 of us, the shop was privatized for our group (although you can also be paired with other participants on the day as required, which sounds just as fun!). From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with kindness. We then experienced a workshop filled with humor and learning. We truly had a great time! We had booked this to celebrate a birthday, but it would also be absolutely perfect for a girls' night out or any other special occasion. You'll leave with a beautiful handcrafted glasses case and great memories. Highly recommend Paramaz Maroquinerie!

28/08/2026: Top-notch ice cream shop! 👌🏻 🤩 The ice cream is homemade, the flavors are excellent, and the ingredients are high quality (pieces of pistachios, hazelnuts, etc.). The prices are fair for the quality and flavors. The shop is conveniently located just 20 meters from the Château d'Azay-le-Rideau, allowing you to enjoy your ice cream in the courtyard, which is free to access. A great place for a delicious treat.

21/07/2026: WOW. Run don’t walk. They opened at noon on our last day in Bordeaux and we stopped by on the way out of town. By 12:30 there was a line out the door. WORTH THE WAIT! We bought six different flavors. So delicious, great ingredients and flavor combos, crispy and light, not dense. I’m gluten free and because they ferment their dough for so long I had no issues and didn’t feel full after two pieces. No seating, just grab and go, perfect for a picnic. To the owners and chefs: thank you for this delicious food and for being so kind to us!

30/08/2026: We've eaten at this restaurant several times and have recommended it to our friends and family. Each time, it's the same: an extraordinary culinary surprise. The chef primarily uses local produce, and this connection to the region is evident in every dish. The wine list is always excellent, with wonderful discoveries of regional appellations, always perfectly chosen and well-executed. It's this kind of cuisine that makes you want to come back again and again. A must-try.

29/08/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 6 stars… if I could have. To fully recount our experience at Maison Soubeiran, we must start at the beginning. A wooden door. Simple. Intriguing, to say the least. What will I discover behind it? We pass through it, and a corridor invites us to take a few steps forward. This small, dimly lit vestibule is enough to create a transition. Then, almost suddenly, we step into another world. It's August. The temperature in the streets of Lunel is 36 degrees Celsius. And here we are in a patio covered by a magnificent ivy canopy that seems to instantly lower the temperature. The atmosphere is cool, calm, and soothing. A little oasis. The first person who greets us is smiling, attentive, and incredibly kind. We settle in, and already, we have only one desire: to discover more about this unique place. We were lucky enough to meet the owner. A man of passion. Ask him a few questions and he'll quickly and generously share the story of Maison Soubeiran, this former industrial site transformed into a restaurant. The courtyard is a true haven of peace. The interior is just as enchanting. The decor is sublime, authentic, and exquisitely tasteful, never overdone. And now, the food. Don't bother looking for a menu. Like the place itself, everything here is a secret to be discovered. We opted for the five-course tasting menu, a blind tasting. And at that point, words fail us. A succession of remarkably well-balanced, creative, and delicate dishes, with incredibly precise seasoning. We also chose the wine pairings, which included broths. I highly recommend them. They truly enhance the experience and make it even more surprising. From the first course to the coffee, which was absolutely delicious, we experienced a truly unforgettable family moment. We love unusual places. Places with a soul. Places you talk about long after you've left. Maison Soubeiran is undoubtedly one of them. Thank you to the chef for her committed, creative cuisine, based on natural ingredients, flavor, and local sourcing. Thank you to the owner for his infectious passion. And thank you to the entire team for the remarkable welcome. We were treated like royalty, with such naturalness and generosity. We will treasure this address. For us, it is now an essential destination for food lovers visiting the South of France. 5 stars… and a sixth that Google unfortunately won't let me add. ++ V
