01/10/2026: I work at the hairdresser's next door, and for the first time, I decided to come and eat here. And frankly, I wasn't disappointed! For only €16, you leave with a full stomach: starter, generous main course, cheese, dessert, and a small coffee… What more could you ask for? 😄 Excellent value for money, a simple and hearty meal, just the way we like them. Thanks again to these establishments that are still around and offer unbeatable prices. With the current economic situation, it's really nice to still be able to eat well without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be back! 👍

28/09/2026: This establishment is located outside the tourist zone. Most of the customers are local workers and residents. It has a homey atmosphere and the food is very good and inexpensive.

10/10/2026: The food was consistently excellent, and we had a truly wonderful evening. We tried a bit of everything on the menu, and every single dish was a perfect 10 out of 10: • The fondue (Fondue Savoyarde): Super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and just what we needed for a cozy evening. 🫕 • The fish dish (Filet de Dorade): Cooked to perfection, beautifully crispy on the outside, and incredibly fresh with fantastic side dishes. 🐟 • The burger (Burger Savoyard): Really juicy, perfectly topped, and the fries were amazing. 🍔🍟 The service was attentive and incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is so cozy. You immediately feel at home. For us, this is an absolute top spot – 5 stars without hesitation. We'll definitely be back! 🤝⭐

29/09/2026: This course was given to me as a gift, and I assumed it was a professional training course. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, so my opinion remains somewhat mixed, as I'm a professional myself. I really appreciated the venue and the equipment provided: the environment is pleasant, professional, and very well-equipped. The recipes offered are accessible and designed to be easily reproduced at home, which is very helpful for beginners. For my part, with my professional experience, I unfortunately didn't learn anything new, and I found the course somewhat lacking in dynamism and technical skill. Nevertheless, it was still a good experience: the group was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the lunch was excellent! In short: a very good experience for discovering pastry making or improving your skills as an amateur, but less suitable for someone already working in the field.

29/08/2026: A beautiful bistro, full of flavor, nestled amidst the fields. The dining room perfectly blends the atmosphere of a bistro with that of a farmhouse, with great charm. On the plate, a generous parmigiana, gnocchi with smoked bacon, and pork tenderloin piccata: fragrant dishes, perfectly cooked and utterly delicious. All accompanied by equally delightful wines. The service was dynamic, warm, and very pleasant. A truly wonderful place!

09/10/2026: I ordered sour tuna sushi on a bed of overcooked "puriz" rice! The gyoza option, without sauce, was dry and not very flavorful. It came with miso soup (without miso) and button mushrooms. And to finish, a small, very vinegary, and poorly seasoned cabbage salad. I won't be back... I hope the skewers save the restaurant because, frankly, this is a place to avoid... My stomach is churning...

02/10/2026: A great find in Lyon. This Japanese restaurant prides itself on its traditional cuisine. The skewers are cooked over a wood fire right in front of you. The fish is excellent, by the way. Friendly and welcoming service. It's a shame about the pink ginger...

26/07/2026: Very overrated. The evening menu is the same as the lunch menu: €19 for a starter and main course, which is fairly affordable for Paris, although probably quite expensive for the neighborhood. The food was of rather mediocre quality; I felt sick less than an hour after finishing my meal. As for the atmosphere, it was nonexistent; the person who ran it seemed completely overwhelmed. The bar looked like a garbage dump, even though it was a Sunday evening and there were barely ten people in the restaurant.

18/08/2026: Beautiful nature reserve! You shouldn't be afraid of heights... I even cycled the Gorges once from Le Gard. Tough (steep slopes) but majestic. In the high season, however, it gets very crowded with tourists who view it more as an amusement park than a nature reserve. A little further south lies the Gard Cévennes, much quieter!!

13/08/2026: A magnificent place, with incredible natural surroundings. Unfortunately, the first thing you'll hear every morning, from 8:00 AM until 7:30 PM, is the ultralight aircraft and small planes flying over the Pont d'Arc. Their truly unpleasant drone clearly spoils the experience and completely detracts from this exceptional location. How can a handful of people be allowed to ruin the enjoyment of thousands of tourists and locals? I sincerely believe that the town of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and the nature reserve should clearly prohibit this type of activity over this site. Attached is a short excerpt of what you can hear.
