19/09/2026: Disappointed... we hadn't been here for about 2 years and we discovered higher prices (pizza 18 euros, dessert 10 euros). We were disappointed by smaller pizzas and a gourmet tea where the mini desserts were dry.

26/09/2026: Excellent food, especially the homemade cassoulet 😋 with high-quality meat. The restaurant is very clean, with a warm atmosphere and a lovely terrace. The staff is fantastic—very friendly, attentive, and helpful. We had a wonderful time as a family and will gladly return!

20/09/2026: Via Mela was our nightly go to for dinner when we were in Paris. The server Moun was amazing. The Chef Owner exceptional. On our last night the chef made us a special appetizer not on the daily menu. The menu is done daily giving so much to choose from. It is a place we recommend to our friends when they travel to Paris.

27/08/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this restaurant is a true gem. The view is breathtaking, each dish is a journey for the taste buds, and the welcome is as warm as it is sincere. You can feel the passion in each plate, fresh products enhanced with talent and creativity. I envy those who live nearby and can go there regularly... it's an address we would like to keep secret, but which deserves to be known to everyone.

09/08/2026: Excellent welcome, seated very quickly, calm atmosphere and very pleasant service. A generously portioned gizzard salad. The three-pepper sauce is spicy, but the meat with its accompaniment of fries and/or salad is excellent. A very good meal.

23/07/2026: I was very unpleasantly surprised; the ribeye steak was inedible. I had fond memories of this restaurant.

15/01/2026: We came as a group of four for a midweek meal with friends. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we were served, from the cocktails to the dessert, not forgetting the wine. There was nothing to criticize; everything was excellent. Despite the diverse choices, the cooking was perfect, and the sauces, side dishes, and all the other dishes were harmonious. The setting is pleasant and beautifully decorated. We were able to chat quietly while enjoying our meals, which is exactly what we wanted. The service was efficient and friendly, and the courses arrived one after another without excessive waiting. Of course, the price is high, but the quality is undeniable. We will be back.

05/01/2026: The food is excellent, but the portions are very small, which is a shame. The same goes for the wine glasses. Ours were definitely less than 12cl. How can you expect to build customer loyalty with a business like that? The service is adequate, but not up to the standard of the food. They ask us how we did without even looking at us—that says it all about their attention! 😅 In short, remember, food isn't everything!

21/09/2026: I'm a regular at Le Brasier; you could even say it's one of my favorite restaurants in the area. To sum up Le Brasier in three words: - Simple - Good - Inexpensive The meats are high quality, the wood-fired cooking is expertly done, and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

07/06/2026: We stayed at this hotel for a spa break at La Roche-Posay because the hotel offers discounted rates. It's a real gem, very charming. It's located in the center of Yzeures-sur-Creuse, a small, traditional town with a few shops. A car is necessary to get around (10 minutes from La Roche-Posay). The Relais is very spacious, tastefully decorated in a traditional style, and very comfortable. There are several small lounges for reading, relaxing, playing games, or having coffee or tea... a gym, and coffee and water machines throughout... The room was pleasant, bright, and clean, tastefully decorated. It was well-equipped with a Dolce Gusto machine, TV, hairdryer, towel warmer, large shower with toiletries, and air conditioning... It's quite quiet at night, both inside and out. Everyone has their own preferences. For us, the curtains weren't dark enough, we were woken up at the crack of dawn, the bedding wasn't to our liking, and the pillows were too flat, but everyone has their own habits. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and everything was very good. At the restaurant, everything is homemade, and a large portion of the breakfast is too—it's all very high quality. The staff is helpful, friendly, and very pleasant. Special mention goes to Madeline, with whom I exchanged numerous emails to prepare for our stay, and who was absolutely perfect. A place we would gladly recommend!

25/05/2026: A magnificent venue for our wedding. The meal, wine, drinks reception, etc... were all truly excellent. I highly recommend it. 18/09/2026: A very pleasant discovery with good quality dishes (although they could have used a little more salt). The service was excellent, with a smiling woman (who was managing the dining room single-handedly). The prices were reasonable (€27 for a starter/main course, €31 for a starter/main course/dessert) and it offered good value for money. There are very few seats, so it's best to book in advance by phone. We were able to bring our dog without any problems. Special mention goes to the chocolate fondant, which was incredibly moist, and the perfectly cooked gratin dauphinois.

19/08/2026: A delightful surprise in Les Estables! Don't let the unassuming appearance of the building, nestled on the hills above the village, bordering the forest, put you off… La Maison Forestière is truly worth a visit! We had lunch there as a family and were won over by the set menu at €30, which offers incredible value for money. The menu inspires confidence right from the start: it showcases the many local producers who supply the establishment with fresh, carefully selected products. The starter, an Ardèche platter, is simply exceptional! A generous, colorful, and beautifully composed plate, where each little dish is a discovery: crispy goat cheese, pork terrine with chestnuts, falafel, green salad, lentils, melon and watermelon balls, caramelized onion, shredded red cabbage, olives, gherkins… and many other delightful surprises. The dish was so stunning when it arrived that we completely forgot to take a picture: we immediately devoured it! At that altitude, it's understandable that we were hungry! And above all, it was hard to resist such an appetizing plate… Then came the main course, with a choice of meat or fish of the day. We chose the pork loin, accompanied by a slice of herb-infused caillette (a type of pâté), wholegrain mustard, and a homemade sauce. And again, what generosity: four different side dishes: porcini mushroom purée, sautéed zucchini, risotto, and orzo with tomatoes. It was hearty, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And dessert was the perfect ending to the meal: a plum and almond tart with whipped cream, a scoop of strawberry ice cream, blueberry panna cotta, and fresh fruit, all accompanied by a delicious verbena sauce. A true festival of flavors! The service is on par with the food: pleasant, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Kudos to the owners for this wonderful restaurant! Generous, locally sourced, carefully prepared, and incredibly fresh cuisine at a truly remarkable price. We absolutely recommend this place! And above all, don't let yourself be discouraged by some negative reviews which, in our opinion, don't reflect our experience at all. We had a fantastic time as a family and will definitely be back!
