I recommend the onion soup.
The only downside: it's very busy, so quite noisy, and it's best to book ahead. Once seated, the service was very efficient, so no complaints there.

25/10/2026: This restaurant is a good option if you don’t want to stay in the queue to Boullion in the nearby or too hungry to wait long. The onion soup was amazing. Wok chicken was without pasta, which is strange. Overall prices are higher comparing to other restaurants in the area.
16/10/2026: Not a good place to eat. Food was sub par. Steak was about as tough as shoe leather. They didn’t even ask me how I wanted it lol. Not a serious food establishment.
Seems like a great place to drink and smoke cigarettes though, so if that’s your thing, this is your spot!

01/10/2026: This place is so unique. One man does everything. Serving, clearing , cooking, drinks, bill.
It’s one thing to design an excellent menu but another to make a menu that tastes so good and is so time sensitive.
Hats off to this unique restaurant and I hope to come back again

15/09/2026: Discovered during a business trip. The food is delicious and the service is fast. Main course and dessert were served in under an hour, even though the restaurant was quite full. The owner works alone, so there might be a bit of a wait if it's busy, but it's still reasonable, and the service is pleasant!

The classic 1.5-hour tour, complete with a canelé, is a true holiday experience. Especially with the staff's friendliness and the subtle, witty humor of Aurélien's anecdotes, which enrich the historical facts.
