03/10/2026: A very welcoming place; I've been a customer for several years and have always been a regular. However, in the last few months, we've noticed a new menu with several inaccuracies (some prices not displayed? Dishes subject to conditions that aren't available on certain days, which is annoying if it's not specified on the menu?). There are also new, higher prices for the same or even lower quality. It's unfortunate because the place and the staff are very friendly, but word is starting to get around that you're no longer as affordable or high-quality as your neighboring competitors. Hoping to return under better circumstances!

26/09/2026: Honestly, I'm not usually picky, but I was very dissatisfied... the carbonara was okay, but without cream and no egg either. It was really just plain pasta with five or six bacon bits and, thankfully, a little Parmesan. Very disappointed.

19/09/2026: Passing through the region (I'm from Paris), I stumbled upon Brasserie des Sports. Exceptional meats, a magnificent setting, a large shaded terrace, generous (XXL) portions, attentive, attractive, smiling, and very professional waiters and waitresses, and a very passionate and efficient sommelier, Cecilia. For a lunch or dinner as a couple or with family, it's the ideal place.

The place lives up to its name: a friendly, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a great time in the South of France. 🍽️ We had a very pleasant time. The welcome was friendly, the service pleasant, and the ambiance perfectly matches what you're looking for when you come to enjoy La Ciotat: taking your time, eating well, and appreciating the surroundings. La Ciotat is also worth exploring: its port, its charming streets, its seafront, and of course, the magnificent surrounding landscapes offer plenty to fill your day. 🌊 After your meal, I highly recommend taking a stroll along the coast or the port. For photography enthusiasts like myself, the Mediterranean light and landscapes around La Ciotat offer wonderful opportunities, especially at the end of the day. 📸 I'll definitely remember this place for its friendly atmosphere and pleasant setting. It's the kind of place you come to primarily to have a good time and enjoy the holiday spirit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A truly wonderful experience in La Ciotat, I highly recommend Les Copains d'Abord!

13/08/2026: Hello, a small problem: after choosing our dishes from the menu—two flank steaks and one lamb shank—the waiter told us there were no more lamb shanks for my wife. She then chose a flank steak, and we were told there were only two left. So our friend, who was supposed to order a flank steak, had to settle for a hamburger instead, which was disappointing. We completely understand the need to manage food supplies, as the restaurant was closing the following evening for vacation, but the waiter should have informed us of this when giving us the menu. I think he was a bit rushed to finish his shift and didn't even have time to finish our aperitifs before the main courses arrived. We had to ask for salt, which wasn't on the table, and there were no small spoons in the sauce ramekins that accompanied the flank steaks. However, the quality of the food itself was excellent. Sorry sir, when you asked me if everything went well, I did indeed answer yes, and I did mention the lack of bibs, and your answer was very evasive. First and last experience in your establishment and I certainly will not be advertising for you.

05/10/2026: We only had a few hours to explore downtown Saint-Claude, and we were really craving a Jura fondue. Unfortunately, many restaurants were closed, and it was already almost 2:00 PM. On the phone, a warm voice told us: "Don't worry, I'll be waiting for you." When we arrived at Le Petit Machon, a very charming, smiling, and welcoming woman served us fresh water and put us at ease about arriving so late to enjoy a specialty that requires time to appreciate. The fondue was served relatively quickly. It was tempting and appetizing... The charcuterie was plentiful and beautifully presented. It was an absolute delight. Definitely worth trying. Above all, it's excellent value for money. Furthermore, the owner, always available and friendly, gave us a summary of the most important sights to see and admire in Saint-Claude in such a short time. This was truly very helpful. It wasn't just a simple lunch; it was an encounter, a discovery, a wonderful memory... We'll definitely go back if we return to Saint Claude.

21/08/2026: Unpleasant, overly familiar service; cold, tasteless, cardboard-like crepes reheated in the microwave; disgusting industrial-style chocolate syrup; tasteless hot chocolate with no sugar; one glass of water for two and no napkins; prices not reflecting the quality of the food served.

18/08/2026: A family-run establishment with a great atmosphere and delicious food! One of the waiters has a very funny German accent! The perfect spot to recharge after a day of hiking.

24/09/2026: This was one of the most amazing experience in a Chinese restaurant that I've ever had in any country. We just came here by mistake, without knowing where are we going. We took some starters and a few main courses. The food was out of the ordinary. I have 8 Chinese food in many countries, weather food here was something extraordinary. Everything was amazing, bata super amazing dish were pork chops in caramel sauce. Also for the desert the banana flambe. The prices here are just unbelievable. We ordered two starters, three main dishes, one sadi, 1 desserts, and 2 dullwine bottles, and we paid for all of that 110e. Guys believe me, come here, this is a real gem.

19/09/2026: I ordered the spring rolls online, and they were very good and came with sauce and salad, but the meat dishes were really low quality, with rubbery bits and tasteless condiments. Four spring rolls would be fine, but I wouldn't recommend the rest.

21/09/2026: We had a reservation for 12:00-12:30, but the waiter said, "You're already here? Seriously, we arrived at 12:00." It was very busy, so it's best to make a reservation. The restrooms reflect the rest of the restaurant; what can I say? They smelled awful and were in poor condition. I think a good disinfectant treatment wouldn't hurt. And a good renovation wouldn't go amiss either. My goat cheese crepe was fine, but my husband's ratatouille omelet was still looking for the ratatouille. He should have sent the plate back; it was completely unappetizing and didn't match the order. There are things that need improvement, especially the restrooms. 🚻

11/07/2026: We're staying at Yelloh! Village Ranc Davaine in the Ardèche. The location is beautiful. The Ardèche River runs right alongside the campsite and is one of its biggest highlights. The water is crystal clear, the scenery is stunning, and it's a fantastic place for kids to swim, play, and catch small fish with nets. We spent many enjoyable hours there. The swimming pool is also fantastic. It's very well designed to stay pleasantly cool, even on hot days. There are several fun slides that the kids absolutely loved, and there is plenty of space for everyone to find a comfortable spot, whether you prefer the indoor pools or the outdoor areas. The lifeguards were always friendly and welcoming. The mobile home is decent, although it's quite small for seven people. The wallpaper is peeling off in places, and the air conditioning feels like the cheapest model they could find. It barely cools the place down, especially during the hotter parts of the day. The staff, however, are fantastic. Everyone has been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The biggest issue—and the reason I'll be leaving such a low rating—is the EV charging situation. The campsite advertises four chargers, but in reality only one is actually usable for most EVs. Two are Tesla Destination Chargers, which did not work with our Škoda Elroq 65 despite downloading and configuring the official Tesla app. Another charger requires you to bring your own adapter, leaving just a single charger for everyone else. We've been here for over a week and haven't been able to charge our car even once. The only usable charger is constantly occupied, often by the same guest who leaves their car there all day, even after it's fully charged. Whether that's due to a lack of rules or a lack of enforcement, the result is the same: if you rely on charging your EV at the campsite, don't count on it. It's a real shame because the campsite has many positives, but for anyone travelling with an electric vehicle, the charging facilities are completely inadequate for a campsite of this size. Until this is improved, I cannot recommend this campsite to EV drivers.

30/05/2026: Only tight-fitting swim trunks are allowed in the swimming pool. That would have been helpful information beforehand. The Tesla charging stations haven't received an update in a long time. Therefore, newer Tesla models/vehicles can't charge there. Relying solely on the operator's Wi-Fi is a real disgrace. They refer you to other locations, but nobody could tell me if it works there.
