It was my first time, and the Afghan cuisine was absolutely delicious! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Their rice was incredibly tasty, and the meat was tender and perfectly spiced. The prices are very reasonable, and even if they were, when you eat as well as we did, I wouldn't mind paying more when it's so worth it! Thank you again for this lovely evening. We will definitely be back!

06/08/2026: Our experience at Champ des Vignes capped off a week-long holiday in the Cantal region, where we enjoyed a variety of culinary experiences. We stumbled upon it quite by chance, arriving late, and were absolutely blown away by what this restaurant has to offer: delicate cuisine with thoughtfully crafted flavors, combined with passionate service and precise, helpful advice. This last point is very rare and deserves to be highlighted! The icing on the cake: a well-chosen playlist accompanied this wonderful experience, all at an unbeatable price. Please don't change a thing: the people of Aurillac are so lucky!

01/10/2026: A very pleasant restaurant with a lovely terrace. The staff is also very friendly. The food is excellent and plentiful; the cannelloni with Brocciu cheese are superb and very generously portioned. The homemade wild boar terrine is beautifully presented and delicious. The wild boar in sauce is delicious and very hearty. A place to recommend without hesitation.

08/10/2026: Visiting the area and recommended by a friend from Niort, we discovered this restaurant, which we certainly would never have found otherwise. It must be said that this place is particularly secluded, and all the better for it, because it's so peaceful and surrounded by greenery. The inn is very well laid out and decorated, blending rustic and modern styles. The terrace by the water is lovely in good weather, under the plane trees. The staff was incredibly attentive from beginning to end, responsive, helpful, and offered excellent advice. Every dish we tasted was simply fantastic, with a multitude of flavors, textures, and colors. The little touches at the beginning and end of the meal were much appreciated (amuse-bouches and petit fours). And what a cheese platter! I loved it. We had a wonderful time at the table. Thank you and congratulations to the Chef and his team.

03/10/2026: A wonderful experience and always a discovery of new flavors. This time, a winter radish carpaccio and an eggplant velouté as starters, both very surprising and refreshing. The pollack fillet with coco beans and seaweed was excellent. The confit and roast duck was cooked to perfection! To be enjoyed again and again, without moderation!

A menu crafted exclusively with fresh ingredients, so enticing that you want to try everything because it was presented so well. A €30 set menu (starter/main course and dessert) – unheard of for a Saturday night! A well-chosen wine list at affordable prices; I highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely be back. 02/09/2026: A truly wonderful discovery on the culinary front: seasonal produce, expertly prepared, beautifully presented dishes, and impeccable execution. No complaints there; we had a fantastic meal. However, I was very disappointed with the non-alcoholic pairing. Serving a white Uby, then a rosé Uby, and finally a red Uby in succession seemed far below the standard of the cuisine and the overall experience. Today, more and more people enjoy fine dining without necessarily drinking alcohol, and there are countless possibilities for creating truly exceptional pairings: infusions, fermented beverages, sparkling wines, plant syrups, oils, expertly crafted juices… I've tasted absolutely stunning non-alcoholic pairings in other restaurants. This is definitely the biggest area for improvement in my opinion, because with cuisine of this caliber, the non-alcoholic pairing deserves to be much more refined. Sorry for the lower average rating, but pairings are truly important to me in restaurants.
